Good for the price, the colors are very annoying.
Overall I really like the Dayette air purifier. It seems to work well cleaning the air. I have two of them, one in the feed room of the stable and one in the basement of my house. I have been using them for a little less than a year. Both turn up their fan speeds and change color when I sweep in their vicinity indicating poorer quality air. They go back to normal within a few minutes. Both are pretty quiet even when operating at the higher fan speeds. The filters are easy to purchase and change. My only big complaint is the LED light that indicates the air quality. The color that indicates good air quality is blue. The blue is difficult to see in rooms that have daylight or strong lights on. The color blue is also bad for sleep so I won't use it in any room that I frequent near bed time like the living room or bedroom. I also find it very difficult to get used to blue being good. We are accustomed to green being good/ go, yellow or orange caution and red is dangerous or stop. This unit has green as caution or worse quality air. Its very difficult system to get used to. I have several other air purifiers of different brands that were more expensive, they all use the green is good, orange is caution, red is danger color coding and it makes much more sense. I wouldn't buy another unit because of the color code annoyance, but they are a good unit for the price if that doesn't bother you. I do have the wifi and app features on mine, but havent had the need to use it.

Scheduling feature DOESN'T WORK completely.
I purchased this particular unit because I wanted to schedule the unit to enter sleep mode at night and switch over to auto mode in the morning. The unit would go into sleep mode, but not come out of sleep mode no mater what schedule was set. I was in contact with the company for weeks regarding this issue. Instead of taking responsibility for a defective item, they blamed my home network (which is stable; our other IOT devices function just fine) or my scheduling abilities (!). Even after they confirmed that they tested another device on a schedule and it came out of sleep just fine, they asked me to keep the unit and just put in on auto/sleep manually. While pushing those buttons really isn't a big deal, I spent the extra money for this unit FOR the scheduling feature so I wouldn't HAVE to remember to push the buttons. I explained this to them, and they again asked me to just keep the unit with a 15% refund. Three, almost four weeks of emailing and this was the final straw. Perhaps they were just stalling so that the return window would close. I don't know. Fortunately Amazon's customer service took care of my request. Suffice to say that if you are planning to use the device as I was, think twice.
