At last I have found a food my betta will eat, after spending a fortune on expensive foods, livefoods, frozen foods, human foods! This gets gobbled up like crazy by my betta and the tetras. It has garlic in it too which is great for them as it keeps diseases away, it also has a lot of vitamins in it too and the price is amazing. It does leave an oily deposit on the surface of the water, someone else mentioned that in a review and I have just noticed it in my tank, nothing that a paper towel wont fix or a surface skimmer. The grains are very small and stay on the surface for a good while which makes it perfect for a betta. The tetras love it too so I am sure other breeds will be as impressed with it as mine are. This is going to help greatly with getting the feeding right, I am a beginner so I payed the price of over feeding with an outbreak of whitespot which I am in the middle of treating. The grains make it easy to know how much is being eaten as it's not falling to the bottom before the fish eat it, you can easily see them picking it off grain by grain from the surface so there is no waste. I am really very impressed with this food. Just a little note to anyone with a wheat allergy, I noticed my ears itching like crazy the last 2 days which is normally a sign I have touched or eaten some wheat, this stuff contains wheat so watch for that, I have now instructed my son to feed them now so another pleasure taken from me like doughnuts and cake but that's life. My recommendation is buy this you wont be sorry it's good stuff!

As with us, it's best to provide a varied diet, I use this food as it is a fine granule and floats well which I find best for bettas. Used in conjunction with Tetra Betta food and Live foods to make sure my betta never gets bored. Don't be worried when you see the tub it comes in as it is on the small side, I can still see it lasting for a very long time so does provide good value for money.

Bought this to feed my Betta. The grains are smaller than the other pellets so it’s easier for my small Betta to eat. One negative is that the packaging has no English instructions.

Finally a high quality food that my Betts fish will eat. I have tried several foods such as Hikari Betta and Tetra flakes but my fish just spits it back out. The Sera betta food has been a life saver! It floats at the top of the water for a little bit then floats midway in the tank giving my fish time to eat them. I had to google the ingredients as they are not English however I discovered that it contains a high level of protein as well as a range of vitamins that help betta fish colours. Will defiantly buy again!

Brought it for my Betta as I wanted to mix some food up for him to eat as he also has blood worms now and then but it turns out all the other fish in the tank love eating them as well can see all the other fish colours coming out a bit more bright than before not a big change but can see it also I’ve read about others having oily film across the top of their water but I haven’t had this happen to me if you got a good enough filter and good water movement you won’t be seeing any oily film on top the food stays floating for a bit then starts to fall down my bottom feeders even love eating these as well good for the price

My Better does like these but they leave a nasty oily film across the top of my tank water. My filter is muffled because my better doesn't like the current so there isn't allot of water movement on top. The granolas leave allot of oil on the surface that I then need to skim off. I would take the song off the filter to get the water moving but when I put it back on the oil just spreads out across the top of the water again. Also I have no idea how much to feed him because the instructions arnt not in English which is also another annoyance and not made clear in the listing.

My Hmpk female loves it. I give her a varied diet with flaked food another pellet, bug bites and frozen foods. She will eat anything. Her colours do seem to be popping and the food is good value for money. With the scum on the water I don't worry about that as high protein foods always seem to leave a bit of oil residue. It soon goes if your filter is turning over as it should

I was looking for different foods to entertain my ridiculously intelligent fish (female Betta) She is quite picky and doesn't show much enthusiasm for most foods to be fair, this included. The reason I have given an uncharacteristically low score is the stuff is filthy. It leaves a thick oily layer everywhere. I read the reviews so expected a little film on the surface which people said was easily mopped up with a sheet of kitchen roll. Well... My tank was disgusting looking overnight and when I cleaned it everything from the filter to every leaf was covered in it and had to be removed and scrubbed. I don't care how 'healthy' it is supposed to be, I want to see my fish and they want to see out!
