nice, less expensive alternative considering most golf training aids are risky purchases. built well and definitely helps with tempo and slowing upper half of body during down swing. worth the money

Love this for training and practicing my golf swing tempo and swing speed! I’ve been playing golf for about a year now but tend to muscle through my swing, using a lot of arms instead of my body. Realized I need to learn to use my body more and “let the club do the work” by gravity as my coach would say. So I’ve been trying to adjust my tempo to feel the “whip” sensation that should send my golf ball flying 20 yds further. I was using an orange whip first to get the “whip” feel which was great, but when I started trying to implement it at the range with an actual club, I found I was still coming in a bit late so the ball would slice because I’m not making the contact with the ball fast enough anymore. I purchased this to simulate the feel with actual contact to the ball if needed but the club head weight itself has helped tremendously with my timing for getting the “whip” feeling and also correct contact with the ball! I’m still learning to adjust but probably hitting at least 70% of the shots straight again! Quality of this is very comparable to the lag shot but for a much better price! The grip is similar to my clubs as well so it’s not a huge adjustment to swap from this swing trainer to my actual irons on the course. Super easy to use, highly recommend for anyone trying to find the right tempo with their golf swing. I think the product is absolutely worth the money; it has very good weight, (heavier than my 7 iron Mizuno) which I like cause when you change back to your own clubs it feels so easy. Only reason indidnt give 5 stars is the grip is not as good as a real grip…. Its slightly smaller and not like a Golf Pride rubber grip, but overall very good.

First feel of this out of the box was weighty and flexible. I look forward to taking this on the course for my practice swings and to loosen up. At home I used the "golf swing trainer" as seen in the pict as it helped with my grip and ensuring I have good posture and swing, but is very heavy so cannot do the full swing. Using this trainer it has weight but i can definitely do a full swing and I can feel the difference in my down swing and tempo. I can also tell if I and griping the club too hard and not relaxed as this is a problem i have to improve on. Using this trainer I am not gripping the club as hard and more relaxed. For the price this is a great extra tool to have in your bag when out on the course and perfect for warmup and to loosen your swing. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this product in hopes to improve my tempo and contact of the golf ball. On the first few swings, it was very difficult to strike the ball due to the flexible shaft. After about 5 to 10 minutes of practice to you start to learn face control and awareness, the flexible shaft makes you become aware of where the clubhead is in space and the right time to fire the hips. Improper swinging is punished with big slices so you know when you hit a good shot. At half the price of a lag shot. I would recommend this as a training tool for anybody who wants work on timing and tempo.

Well worth it. Great for inside use

Just lucky it didn’t kill somebody! Used this thing to warm up pretty regularly till the head decided to fly of for no apparent reason… Included pics of all angles to show that aside from the dirt and grass stains this thing was basically new. Only used to brush the grass while warming up. Luckily there wasn’t someone or something valuable behind me. Came flying off in my back swing. I’ll think twice before I use one of these things again. Or at least use a brand that adequately secures the head.

I don't really buy swing aids but wanted something I could swing while on breaks at work. I'm glad I didn't spend more on the original. I'm not sure how this could improve or fix I swing. I would only buy with the intention of warming up and swinging a club with more weight. Glad I purchased but not a miracle cure.

This is a pretty good lag-trainer or pre-golf game warm-up club. Much better price than what’s being advertised for the brand name.

Great club for swing training also for pre-game warm up for us seniors.
