Will these work with DFS furniture?

they shud work with any recliner (if same length) you need to turn yr chair upside down and find remains (mark holes spring is in) of old spring then you can put two halves inline and measure length of spring as long as springs length is close it will work (several videos on u tube that show how to fir them ) you need good pliers to get hold of the new spring so you can streach it to the fit holes , it all sound worse than it is 10 mins max good luck

From where do you measure a spring

165 relates to overall length including hook ends, 16 dia of spring, 1.6 thickness of wire
