Very useful if you want to put a usb adapter on a usb type-c port
I use this all the time! my Microsoft surface pro 9 doesn’t have a usb port (unlike previous models) and so I connect this adapter so I can use a wireless mouse. The adapter sometimes fidgets a little because the whole rectangle shape adapter rests on a single usb type-c port on the surface pro and isn’t the most secure or in place.

Connection is not stable for wired devices
Bought this for my work laptop which only came with one USB port. Initially only used this extension port with a mouse and dongle, and was working fine. But few months later I connected the keyboard and it kept disconnecting if you just moved the keyboard or the mouse a little. By 6 months, this extension port had to be kept at an odd angle for it to stay connected. In hindsight, this type of extensions aren't very good as they are prone to bending while travelling and slight movement can disconnect it. Have now ordered another cable USB extension port.

Destroyed after few weeks
Looked amazing at first place, worked very good for few weeks, and it started breaking down more and more. It started by few disconnections, and then I wanted to take it out easily but the usb C got out of it’s motherboard … I am really paying attention at everything I own and for real, this one was easily broken… I’m disappointed. Hopefully I had one that was just an exception but I’m now having nothing and have to buy one more … I would love to have the same one with a better fix in the first place If it didn’t break, that would be a 5 stars review
