Is this a noisy kettle?

Definately noisy in my opinion. But it doesn;t advertise itself as quiet, so its the same as most kettles of this type.

BPA.KNOWN AS BISPHENOL,is found in hard plastics unless stated on box or info,it normally isBPA FREE. CN.

What guarantee does the kettle come with?

The item was bought as a gift. I do expect that it would have a years guarantee from makers. However, under the Consumer rights section in the amazon pages. It says that if the item develope's a fault.( other from user error you can request a replacement in the first 6 months on the grounds of its defective/faulty as part of the sale of Goods act. If faulty you can print off a free returns label and send back to Amazon to investigate. Happy New Year. Ps, the kettle is brilliant, so my daughter says.
