Very good game. I played this with my husband and it's a great couch co-op game to play together. However, it's disappointing to see that player 2 has very limited functionality and is just there to support player 1. It made me feel a bit useless.

Excellent Resident Evil Addiction, a must have for the collectors, got every game on every platform now, this was the missing piece?

I already have a ps3 version of this but recently purchased a ps4 so it only made sense to get a res 2 disc for that machine. HOLY MOLY the difference in the graphics is unreal - it has this beautiful pop out 3d effect now, the target is sharpened and everything around it is slightly blurred giving the visual effect. It makes the game very immersive and exciting. I will forever be addicted to this game, not only because it has Claire Redfield in it but I love the idea of Res being a proper horror game again. Some parts of this game give me genuine moments of heart thumping and screaming obscenities at the screen. Its much MUCH darker then previous titles with PLENTY of guts and monsters, plus it also has sexy characters in it too. It has an old school feel to it but without the fixed camera angles and the tank controls. The camera can be moved but you will always have an over the shoulder view. In other words the character doesn't move, the world around him/her does. If you are worried about the horror factor please don't - I would give this a chance for sure. it is way darker then previous games and is most certainly NOT for children. There are plenty of obvious F bombs with disturbing images of twisted creatures that would give the little ones nightmares for the rest of their lives. So please spare them that. there is huge replayability for this game. Firstly there is the main campaign or main story with Clare & Moiré (4 chapters) running parallel with Barry & Little Natalia (yes she is a child but she is NOT annoying, she is actually cute as hell). There are bonus chapters for each new character moiré and Natalia that will keep you busy and if that's not enough there is one more part of the package for all you trigger happy fans out there. RAID MODE- Oh dear God I have met a force of addiction so strong I think I should seek out some sort of help to rip me away from this. raid mode is a series of gauntlets that allows you to CONSTANTLY upgrade, better weapons bigger monsters, bigger buzz etc. There is a very upbeat soundtrack that will have you tapping your toes and bouncing your head around. Be very careful with raid mode - I would suggest setting times to play and cut off times too. You can get very carried away with this. One thing that stands out for me in the main campaign was the nods to old-school fans - some inside jokes had me in stitches they were so cringie but so funny "Almost a Claire sandwich" or Barry holding up his python and saying "I have THIS!" It made me feel appreciated as a loyal fan and brought back of memories from when this whole thing started. It was an outside the box bold move and that is something that attracts me as a gamer. I like bold moves that are risky. I am hugely turned off by games that are "safe" and structured or predictable. So boring! So thank you Capcom for being awesome and bringing back some proper old school horror for us die hard Res fans. Please keep up the good work. Oh and if you re release Res 2 I will be forever grateful and will be first in line to purchase a copy. Huge Claire Redfield fan here!

Love it it’s fun

Gameplay is fun as is the story to play through. The issue for me was the field of view, too narrow hence I could only play for an hour/ hour and a half at a time. Felt really quite ill after that as well. Persevered but in the end had to give up the ghost. So if you suffer from field of view sickness and tend to avoid first person shooters because of it. This is a third person game but the feeling is similar because of the narrow view.

Been a huge fan of the resident evil franchise. Even bought a gamecube to play res4 rather than wait for it to come out on the ps2. This has to be one of the best of the franchise. Was rather disapointed with res 5 and res 6 but that wont stop me from loosing my faith in the franchise. Revelations 2 feels like res 4 and has a great story. it frels fresh and back to its roots. Definatly if your a res fan but this game. The new remake of res 1 on playstation store is well worth the cost.

If you loved Resident Evil 4,then this game is for you. It's definitely my favourite since Resident Evil 4. The game contains all dlc already on the disc and requires no downloading voucher. Bonus content includes 2 playable side stories called ( Little Miss ) and ( The Struggle ) 4 character costumes Raid Mode that contains almost 200 missions is fantastic. Graphics are very nice looking and polished,the characters and enemy design is way more detailed then the first game. Acting is pretty good then most Resident Evil games. The game is 1080p and runs at 60fps Very good game. Overall 89/100%

I was gleefully surprised by how much silly fun these episodes turned out to be. If you enjoyed the remakes of RE2 and RE3, then you would have a blast with Revelations 2.
