I got the cat fountain that these filters go to and my cat uses it. Unlike other water fountains he doesn't. The filter must work well because my cat is healthy. I try to change out the filter every two to three weeks. It needs it by then.

The instructions are in broken english, but it's easy to figure out how everything goes together. The capacity is prodigious; good for summer when animals will start consuming vast amounts of water. I could not hear any noise being produced by the motor, even with my ear a few inches away from it. The stainless steel is an invaluable material for its antibacterial properties. The motor requires so little power it can be driven by a usb cord attached to a wall adapter. Consequently, water pressure is just enough to cycle the water through the spout. Care should be taken to minimize the chances of debris falling into the tray, just as with a regular water dish. The opening for water to drain from is narrow and will stop debris from getting to the motor housing but may clog and cause the tray to overflow. If only one small adult animal is drinking from this fountain, refills will be infrequent. Refills will increase with temperature, size of the animal, lack of water in the air, number of animals, and spills. However, the capacity is more than adequate for a week or more between refills and cleanings. Stagnant water is a great health hazard due to the sheer number of micro-organisms infesting it. Therefore, the constantly moving water coupled with the stainless steel construction allows for much safer drinking water. This should also greatly improve taste, which will hopefully motivate an animal to drink as much water as they need throughout the day. Overall, dealing with a standard dish or bowl is a trial. Dishes are frequently upset, infested with micro-organisms, full of debris floating on top of the water, sometimes too deep for an animal to properly drink from, must be refilled frequently even barring spills, cumbersome, and inconvenient. This fountain solves all of these problems at once. While winter will persist for some time temperatures will rise once again very shortly. This fountain will ensure adequate hydration for any pet(s) that you may own.

Works great with the Rellaty cat water fountain. These catch all the gunk that goes through the fountain, but they should be replaced every ~2 weeks on average. They can get pretty gross

I was a little wary about buying this pet water fountain at first because there were no reviews before I bought it. And I’ve never bought one before. But I figured for the price I paid during Prime Day, I couldn’t pass it up! I am very happy I made this purchase. I needed a fountain for my two cats because they’re always begging me to turn on my bathroom faucet to drink from that. My one cat didn’t care for the fountain at first but it is finally growing on her. After a couple weeks, they stopped begging me. Set up was easy. I can’t believe how quiet this thing is. You don’t even hear the filter running, just a very low sound of trickling water. It’s easy to tell when the water is getting low because the sound of trickling water gets louder. I keep a gallon of water nearby to easily refill the fountain. I do have to lift the top part off to see the MAX refill line inside the basin. So far I’ve only had to clean it once, which was very easy. And it comes with a little bristle tool to do so. You only have to clean it every two weeks. The instruction manual is very clear to read. I did switch out the power block that plugs into the wall because I think the one it came with (the black one) stuck out a little too far from the wall. So I used one of my square blocks instead. (See photo.) Even so, overall, I’m happy with this product.

We have been running 2 of these water fountains for our 2 cats for over a year now. As long as you keep up with rinsing out and refilling them (once or twice a week), you only need to switch out the filters once a month. We write the date on the box to keep track of when we changed. These are by FAR the best cat water fountains! Once I realized cats don't like their water next to their food, and that I had been leaving out gross, stagnate water for years, it was an easy decision. I tried a cheap plastic fountain first and quickly realized the need for metal quality fountains with replaceable filters. I feel like a much more responsible cat owner now.

Keep the water clean and flowing. When the flow slows down, replace the filers and freshen the water.

These work great. I’d work on packaging however. They came and the packaging was destroyed and I had to wash the round filters before use.
