Great book but for users with some knowledge of Scratch or JAVASCRIPT/C++

Scratch that itch!
Brought this to work through with my 7 year old daughter. Really good introduction into coding in Scratch with clear descriptions of how loops, functions etc. work. We both loved the example games within the book and were able to easily understand and modify them to make them more entertaining. If I have one complaint the book is quite short but for the price it is good value.

Mostly a tutorial for the Scratch software
This book is mostly a how-to build computer games using the Scratch software. I had expected some focus on principles of games programming, what makes a good game, hints and tips etc. But all this was lacking, and as noted I was left with a standard software manual -- although nice-looking and well presented

I got this book for my 9 yr old sister. She really loved this book and it is easy to understand. The graphics are very quality and bright and colorful. It is very detailed and informative. It is definitely worth the money!

This is amazing! I got this book after my 5 year ...
This is amazing! I got this book after my 5 year old son asked me if we can make our own video games. It tells you step by step what to do in a very simple way. So far, we've made the first 2 games together and optimized parts of the witch hunt to our liking. I try to explain to him what to do and why but he doesn't understand just yet, so it's basically me telling him what to do and him doing it. That's ok, he'll understand in time. He's excited, but I think my husband and I are even more excited about it.

Se trata de un libro excelente para adentrarse en el mundo de la programación mediante el lenguaje visual de Scratch, ya que contiene numerosa información y detallada con muchas imágenes. Aunque esté escrito en inglés, las imágenes lo clarifican todo. Además, el nivel de inglés exigido para su lectura no es elevado y hoy en día hay numerosos traductores gratuitos que pueden ayudar a entenderlo a las personas que no sepan nada de inglés.
