Good Nit repellant/defence. Lasts the day. Not greasy. Easy to use. Would recommend one application per day.

I have been using this on my kids hair since they were both three, they are 5 and 8 now and never had lice, so I'm putting it down to this stuff doing the trick! It is more expensive than it used to be but honestly it works so well and lasts a very long time ( my daughter has very long hair and it still lasts ages)... the smell is quite pleasant too. Highly recommend 👌

Great product but the spray bottle doesn’t work. Had to transfer the contents into another spray bottle and I think it’s not on because the the price of this product is very expensive Seller please please change the bottles and bring the price down because you are merely taking advantage of parents who have no choice when they’re children catch nits

Nits are my one of my worse nightmares, I have dreadlocks...... Yikes!!!!! Granddaughter has been at nursery/school for 3 years & she came home just after she first started with an infestation. Obviously this lead to sheer bedlam & scarf wearing & me doing lots of research into the best prevention with no chemicals as she can be sensitive to them, baby bath brings her out in a terrible itchy rash. I took a desperate gamble & bought this product. She's not come home with nits again despite having several warnings they are on the other children so Hippy Grannie can give lots of cuddles and keep her dreads. I spray on every morning when she first gets up, comb it through so all the hair is covered & leave it to dry naturally, which is usually just before we're setting off. Added bonus is she has big curly hair so it changes the chaotic bed head to beautiful little ringlets. I sometimes have it on subscription so I get a bottle a month, it lasts just over a month. Though if you do this be aware the price does fluctuate wildly on Amazon and can catch you out. Also, if it's a one-off purchase it is subject to the dreaded 'spend £20 for free delivery but everything is priced at £xx.99' so I regularly get it off EBay too.

Having had about 6 months of ever returning lice from school in my twin 6 year old's hair I decided to try nitty gritty spray. And it works. I plait my girls' hair every day and then spray with nitty gritty. It smells fine and leaves their hair in a nice condition. 6 weeks later and not a head louse in sight. The bottle has lasted 6 weeks for two girls with long hair. Compared with the cost of head louse killer mousse/spray/shampoo this is a cost saving but the best bit is the time saved. Well worth it. I am ordering more.

I love Nitty Gritty! Their range is so easy to use and seems to be effective as I haven't needed to use the product that actually gets rid of the lice more than once. I use this every morning on my daughter's long hair. It reassures me that if she does take her ponytail down that we have tried our best to avoid the pesty lice. Several of her friends seem to get nits regularly and she doesn't so I'm guessing it does work. It smells nice too so isn't a problem to use daily and my daughter doesn't mind me spraying it on her. I wish Nitty Gritty had existed when I was a kid - I can still smell the stuff we had to use in the 80s!

Cannot comment on the performance of the product as it will not spray out. I cannot return the item I’m offered support so I’ve either got to log onto the product’s website or ring up neither of which I’m prepared to do so it looks like having to transfer the contents into a decent spray bottle. Suffice to say I will not buy this item again Amazon we’re no help either.

I have been using this product for 6 months now on my daughter and it seems to be working. After a year long battle with headlice we had, had enough and were at our wits end! My daughter is very sociable and will always get very close to children, she picked up headlice within 2 weeks of starting Reception, we treated everybody and they were gone, within a month they were back, this repeated itself the entire school year, come the summer holidays we treated everybody again and had a lovely headlice free time, however within 3 weeks of being in year 1 they were back!! It seems there is a child in her class who is not getting treated properly and continuously passing them onto other children. I complained to the school however they couldn't do anything as the days of the nit nurse are gone so they cannot tell who it is that has them. I was beside myself as treating headlice is an expensive business!! My mum found this product so I started to use it every school day after she was once again freed of the dreaded headlice and she has not had them since!!! We got rid of her headlice in October, it is now March that's 5 whole months headlice free!! I buy one bottle a month and spray her hair liberally every school day morning. This is an expensive product but it is defiantly cheaper then having to treat a family of 4 for headlice every few weeks and defiantly worth the money!!

El resultado hasta el momento está siendo excepcional. Solucionada la infestación, he estado usando este repelente y no he vuelto a tener problema alguno con el tema piojos en casa. Lo recomiendo si busca algo efectivo para evitar contagios y que además no tenga productos químicos.

Llevamos muchos años y usándolo y de momento parece efectivo. No es pringoso, se echa bien y no huele mal.
