5 Pairs Merino Wool Hiking Socks for Men & Women Thermal Winter Warm Moisture Wicking Cushion Boot Socks

I recently got these so will write this review about wearing them about four times. To”test” them, I singled out one pair to wash and wear versus using them all. They are worn for the entire day and washed/dried before using again. When I first got them, right away I really liked the colors. They are somehow prettier than the pictures convey. Very great winter looking colors. Goes well with Fall outfits. I wear a women’s size 10 shoes and these socks fit just fine. My feet are narrow so I can only write that review from that perspective. They slide on just fine and are easy to take off. It’s frustrating after wearing socks an entire day to struggle to take them off at night but these ones slide right off. Living in the mountains it can be very chilly and hard to get my feet warm, but I love how these socks keep me warm whether I’m outside or inside. I’ve worn them inside, kinda like house slippers, and find that I can wear them for an entire day without my feet or legs getting itchy from dry skin. I’ve worn them outside when I’m out and about and also find that they have kept my feet dry even on a day it was lightly raining. I can’t stand to walk around and have rain around my ankles and then deal with wet socks, but these socks were great at keeping my ankles dry. Even though they have wool in them, they are not itchy at all but soft. Keep in mind there are a wool blend versus being all wool. However, they have more wool in them than the socks at the stores I was shopping at in town. I love love love joy they keep their shape after going through the washer and dryer. They did not shrink at all! I also love how they are a thicker sock which makes them feel high quality. Handy down, they function great. I’m pretty heard on my socks, doing everything from hiking to gardening to wearing them in the house and outside on the driveway without shoes. It will be interesting to see how these perform long term.

Finally, a company that knows how socks should fit. I feel like Goldilocks, since the first pair I ordered were too thin. More like "dress" socks, or at least for summer, not winter in Montana, so returned them. The second pair were totally ridiculous, too heavy to wear with shoes. The toe seam was way to thick and harsh, causing chaffing on my foot. And too wide , causing my foot to slip and slide around, so returned those also. But then this set was just perfect! They are so warm and cozy, soft, comfortable, and I don't even notice the toe seam. They slide on my foot easily and snug up without feeling too tight or binding. The tops stay up, don't slide down or leave those sock marks on my legs. Haven't washed them yet, so will have to wait and see how that goes.

I’m blue collar, where boots everyday, needed something a little warmer for the wet cold winter. These keep my feet warm. I took 1 star away while my feet stay dry for the most part I do feel because of the synthetic fiber that is clearly noted in the description I do get some trapped moister that I do not get with my cotton socks. Over all it’s a good product for the price and I would buy again. Also fun to wear them mix matched.

Got for my husband because he can no longer find the socks that he likes. He likes the extra grip around the arch of the socks. Kind of hugs his feet. They keep the moisture out during the day and in the winter keep his feet warm. They do not seem to shrink once washed. The quality seems good for the price.

I like these socks so much I ordered another five pairs they’re comfortable they don’t itch. My feet do not sweat very washable. They fit well

These are too notch and affordable The quality is very high They are super warm and they hold their shape They are not too tight and easy to put on

I like the socks they are warm and nice looking, good quality. My feet don’t get sweaty and they are comfortable.. they don’t shrink and regular washable. BUT I don’t like that they really aren’t compression socks and they slide down inside my boots and I have clumps of socks on my feet. I’m very disappointed with that. I was going to send them back but I decided I didnt want to go through the bother. But as I write this I’m standing on clumps of socks inside my boots.

Fit is good to size chart, soft and form fitting. People expressed pilling of the wool in the socks, that's because of placing them in the dryer. Wash and then let air dry. Have had no problems with pilling or shrinkage doing it this way.

So far they're pretty warm I wear uninsulated boots at work because I'm in and out of the cold often and my feet will sweat and freeze if they're too warm but these do a really good job of keeping me warm even if I sweat a bit. Only downside that I might see is you need to handwash these but that parts a fairly simple trade to have warm feet in the winter. Also very comfortable.
