Healthy food
I am loving my bulgar, the taste is excellent. Great quality Bulgur with a fresh, nutty flavor. It cooks quickly and comes out light and fluffy every time. Perfect for salads, pilaf, or healthy meal prep. Definitely a pantry staple for healthy eating!

Great pantry staple
Just like I remember my grandmother making, this bulgur is great for a tasty tabouleh or as a rice substitute. The wheat I received has had no dirt or debris and cooks very well when following the instructions. It's a very good value. I'd just recommend carefully transferring the bulgur to a sturdy container for long-term storage, as it's easy to spill when scooping from the bag.

A Very Good Bulgur!
Good product for the price. This bulgur wheat is a much earthier and larger grain size than most are used to I’d say, however I’m quite content with it and would recommend giving it a try.

A healthy grain
I've been trying new whole grains and bulgar wheat was the next on my list. I'm enjoying it very much. It has a nutty taste and is quite versatile: as a cold or hot breakfast cereal with milk, fruit and/or various spices; in vegetable salads; and as a plain or seasoned side dish for options to rice, pasta and other grains, etc. It's so easy to prepare as well. About a half hour before my meal I soak the quantity I'll need in a jar with twice as much boiling water (generally, ½ cup of bulgar wheat and ½ cup of boiling water); it's ready in 25-30 minutes. Depending on what I'm using it for, I'll either reheat it or serve it cold, add it to a recipe or eat it plain. I've even made it the night before to use as overnight "oats" - hot or cold - with fruit. I've now set the bulgar wheat up on Subscribe & Save because I'm using it regularly, along with other grains that I've tried.

Tasty and goes a long way.
We used this as a substitute for rice and quinoa in stuffed peppers and similar dishes. It was very tasty and goes a long way one hydrated. We plant to add this to our shopping rotation.

Taste
I made tabouli, which I make at least four to or five times a year maybe more and it always has been delicious. This I could not make it taste good no matter what I tried to do. I use the same ingredients made it the same way, but it just had the weirdest taste. I did not like it, my company wasn’t impressed. I always get compliments and everyone eats It up. I made a double batch so I could take some to a friend. Well that is not happening. I’ll be throwing the rest of it away. So glad when I did the baby shower in made a giant batch of it that it was delicious and everyone ate it. I’m sure it was a different brand. The only thing I can think of. It must’ve been this brand so I won’t be buying it again.
