Rugged gaming controller
This controller has been an absolute time saver, it does the trick - it handles most platforms of games and styles. It's always recognised and is usually pre-formatted correctly, which saves a lot of hassle. I can also say that it's one of the most reliable aftermarket controllers I've bought, most end up with stick drift or broken vibration sensors, but this has been going strong, despite the hours that I've used it for. I was sceptical to purchase it at first, it was a bit more expensive than most, but I think the quality speaks for itself. Now, the controller itself comes down to preference, I prefer the more weighted feel of a 360 controller, but this hasn't been bad, it just took a bit of time to adapt to. I think the look of the controller lets it down a bit, I wasn't a fan of the images and it looked a bit cheap when i first unboxed it, I think it would look better in a darker colour, the navy colour takes away from it. I'd say it's a controller that values substance over style, it works, does the job and lasts - it's not there to appeal or look flash, I'd say that's why the reliability is so good. I hate to admit it, but I've dropped it a few times and it's robust enough to shrug it off - even the joysticks have suffered no surface wear. I would recommend one for a gamer that wants a controller that's easy to setup and they'll get a lot of hassle free hours of use out of. I'd happily buy one again when the time comes.

Reliable and rugged.
I've had a bunch of controllers. I am so done with wireless BS. I got two of these and they work great. The kids haven't managed to wreck them yet. No stick drift.

Solid PS style pad
I bought this pad because I wanted to play games like platformers and third person action games on my PC, but being only 5'1" tall and a lifelong Playstation player, I find the Xbox pad uncomfortably large for my hands and unfamiliar in layout. The layout is exactly the same as a PS controller, with PS3 style triggers rather than PS1/2 bumpers. It is a little bigger than the PS controller, which wasn't ideal for me personally, but I'm aware that I have particularly small hands for an adult. It's still perfectly usable and smaller than an Xbox pad. It plugs in and works with games immediately like and Xbox pad and the buttons are recognised as Xbox buttons, which makes it quick and easy to set up. The wire is really long; I'd estimate a couple of meters, which is fantastic if your spare usb is around the back of your tower. It's wired, so while you don't have the convenience of wireless, you also never need to worry about setup or batteries. As you'd expect from a 3rd party pad at this price, it does feel a little cheaper than an Xbox or PS pad. The buttons make audible clacky noises and the analogue and d-pad aren't so silky-smooth and the triggers are a tad stiff. While it is a little cheap feeling, it's perfectly up to task, working fine with the precision jumping and movement for Shovel Knight and feeling natural in that role straight out of the box. If you're debating whether to get this or an Xbox pad and you're comfortable using an Xbox pad, I'd advise the Xbox pad. If, however, you have smaller hands, and/or you really want something with a PS layout that your PC will happily recognise an an Xbox controller, or if you want something with the layout of a PS pad but a touch larger, this is an excellent value pad.

Great wired gamepad - I'm very pleased
This is my first gamepad. It works with my PC and TV and connects easily with the USB cable which is about 2m long. The controller feels good to hold and the button work well. The controller seems well made and built to last.

Nothing like the quality of the F510 or F710
No bad, not good. One of the sticks analogue zone is faulty, but I maintain the F-series range have by far the BEST D-Pads you can get. What makes me always buy F-Series controllers? Im on my 5th F710, second F510 and this is the first F310 Ive bought. THEY ARE GREAT for retro gaming thanks to not only them supporting Direct AND X-input, but you can swap the left THUMB stick and the D-PAD around! Very handy for emulation, or playing those old PC CD ROM titles from back in the day. Tomb Raider III etc can be played perfectly THANKS to the Direct Input mode, so OLD GAMES will detect the triggers! They will not be progressive in DIRECT input mode though, only in X-Input mode will you get progressvie Triggers. HOW DO I KNOW THESE ARE GOOD? They arent, get the wireless edition lol. Just like EVERY CONTROLLER in time YES the thumb sticks do get a bit sloppy, but the BATTERIES will OUTLAST your expectations believe me. HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO AN XBOX SERIES X CONTROLLER? Night and day.... The XBox X controller has nicer triggers.... thats about it. The BUILD QUALITY of the F710 Wireless makes an XBOX X Controller FEEL LIKE A TOY. Truth that, where as the F710 will feel like a peice of equipment. Cant say the say about the F310. This F310 is fine for some casual gaming, no vibration and a slight cheap feel, and oddly not built to the same standard as the F510 or the F710. For cheap controllers Id recommend the Thrustmaster DUAL Analogue 4, again cheap cherefull but a better option at this price. No progressive triggers though or X-Input supprt, which the is the F310's strongest selling point, plug play off you go. Once Again I'd maintain after trying a LOT of controllers, although there are some consistencey worries with quality, the Logitech F710 is the best multi-platform, multi era controller, especially for men with larger hands. XBOX controllers feel like a kids toy in comparison.

Great Retro-gaming controller with sticks
I bought the F310 gamepad primarily for the floating d-pad, and PS style layout of controller. I was surprised how raised up it is - which is great, it almost feels like a digital joystick. This is perfect for 8- and 16-bit era games (or similar) and superb for use with MAME. I also wanted sticks for retro FPS games. The sticks feel different to my PS3 controller, which is to be expected, but they are good quality and feel. Some say the dead zone is large, and it is relatively speaking, but that can be adjusted for. They are, if anything, a little too sensitive. The buttons are crisp and responsive, I have had no issue with them sticking or being too hard to press. The trigger buttons do not travel far, but more than I expected from looking at images of the controller, and they feel nice. Some criticise the trigger mounting, the way it drops down, as un-ergonomic. I think there is something in this, but a little experimentation and adjustment of grip resolves this. In summary, I could have got a cheaper controller that was mac and PS3 compatible, but the floating d-pad and the logitech brand sold this to me and I have no regrets - this is the best controller for retrogaming on linux or windows, IMO!

Works better than generic pro controller
This work surprising well. I had no trouble at all. Before I was using a generic controller which after prolong hours of gameplay decides to break down. Switching to the logitech wired gamepad I experienced no issues at all. Some games are better played with controller than using keypad controls. Easier to defeat pesky enemies and bosses. I found it value for money however still was pain to remove from plastic casing.

Great. But not quite as good as the Dual Action it replaces
It's a great pad, for sure. But the changes made to the model between this and my previous Dual Action (Before it was called F310), are for the worst. It offers everything that you would hope, Windows recognises it as an X360 controller which means compatability isn't a problem (Most games have it as an option nowadays). There's no input lag, the sticks are responsive and durable and the buttons are all familiarly placed. However, they've messed around with the shoulder buttons. R1 and L1 are smaller than they were before, not by much, but they don't sit comfortably under your fingers anymore, requiring definite presses of your fingertip rather than gentle movements. Also they've made L2 and R2 trigger-like and analogue. I realise that Sony console controllers also changed their comparable "trigger" buttons, but that shouldn't have been an invitation to Logitech to do the same. Consequently the new F310 triggers have the same vague action that the Sony controllers have. The D-Pad is the same as before, they boast that it's four individual buttons rather than a central pivot but this makes virtually no difference whatsoever; in fact with the way it's constructed it's more likely to succumb to dust/dirt. I found this on my older controller where occasionally one of the directions would stick and require some disassembly to clean it. It also comes with a switch on the back to toggle between Xinput and DirectInput, this is especially useful for compatability on older games. Additionally if switched to DirectInput, it will happily work with a PS3 too (tested). So yeah, it's a great pad and it's more comfortable than the XBox-style controllers (at least for long-fingered hands), but if you're coming from older Logitech controllers then be aware that the shoulder buttons are worse.

najlepszy kontroler PC na rynku
Posiadam go od dwóch dni. Jest to mój powrót do przeszłości, miałem go wiele lat temu i teraz sobie przypominam z jakich powodów bardzo go lubiłem.
