It's a book I'll read and reread. The enormous variety of approaches to and experiences of writing poetry is invaluable.

The chapters by a range of contemporary poets describing their own methods/practice/influences/histories, range from deeply interesting (Figura and Feaver) to rather dull exercises in articulation of vanity (don't like to say but they are in there!!).
