Probably too small for large fireplaces. Just the right size for my intended use: as a coal bucket! I like to set down a base of coals before I start a fire. It keeps the fire going hotter and longer. The lids keeps the dust in and the cats out! Well made and the shovel and brush are useful as well.

Great bucket, only issue is that the lid can slide off pretty easily with only a little lip to control the lid from coming off.

Nice but waaayyyyy too small

It'll get the job done, but I won't order this particular one again. The bucket was shipped in a bag, because of this the original plastic wrapper was already busted upon arrival. Factor in the dents and scrapes all over, plus the shovel was cut incorrectly at the start. Just a trash product. I would never order from this company again.

Product was as described and arrived quickly

The description of the product on Amazon never used the word “mini”. The packaging when it arrived, however, did. If I had seen that word, I would not have bought it. I was looking for something more regular-sized. The ash bin itself is cute; the brush and shovel are nice. Should I have caught the mistake with the words 1.5 gallon? Yes. But I didn’t because I never dreamed an ash bucket could be so small. I will keep it and use it, but I’m disappointed.
