I have 2 Brita Maxtra jugs, large and fridge door size. It was getting expensive buying a regular supply of the big brand filters, even when on sale. These are excellent replacements and filter just as fast and as good as the big brand. The affordability means I don't mind keeping up with regular replacement costs. I really do taste the difference between tap water before and after filtered through this. It's a much "cleaner, more mineral like, fresh" taste. They've also stopped me from buying bottled mineral water AND as I live in a hard water area, I don't have to change the Maxtra filter in my Brita filter kettle either which is looking much less limescale-y so I so I don't have to change the kettle filter as often as before as the water going into it has already been filtered. Very easy to click each filter into place as before too. Compatible with any Maxtra filter device. Very happy with them.

I have bought these water filters umpteen times and they are excellent. They do last well as I am constantly filling my water jug up as I use water a lot during the day for drinking and cooking. The water is so much clearer and my coffee which I take black does taste good. Recommend this seller and the price too. They are easy to insert .

Very good. I'm only giving 4 stars because of the little green valve. It's not that it's fiddly. it's just that I have to tell me kids to make sure that doesn't go in the bin or the filter won't work. That being said, no tea scum, a lovely clear cuppa. Very good value.

If you are tired of paying a premium for branded filters, these FilterLogic cartridges are the perfect solution. I’ve been using them for a while now and the water quality is just as good as the original. Why I recommend them: Excellent Value: Getting a 6-pack makes this a fantastic "custo-benefício" (value for money). It works out significantly cheaper per filter than the Maxtra+ originals. Perfect Fit: I was worried about them fitting my Brita jug, but they work perfectly. Included Adapter: A huge plus is that they include the adapter (usually 1 or 2 in the box) that ensures they work with the newer "PerfectFit" Brita jugs. It's a small detail, but it makes all the difference in ensuring they function correctly without leaks. Water Quality: The filtration is "boa qualidade" (good quality). Initially, I thought the filter was faulty because water wasn't flowing through, but it turned out I had missed the small green activation fob included in the packaging. Perfect for the perfect cuppa! I bought these because they were so well priced compared to the big brands, and I definitely notice the difference. I’m a big tea drinker, and you can really see and taste when the filter is working.. The tea is clear and tastes much better. Even though they’re meant to last 4 weeks, I prefer to change mine every 3 weeks because of how much I use it.

Some reviewers of these FilterLogic cartridges blatantly did not read the instructions before writing their reviews, I did! The included small green adapter is ONLY required if you have a newer Brita jug which has a "PerfectFit" restrictor valve (usually Maxtra+ and Maxtra PRO). How to tell: If there is a hole in your jug roughly the width of a child's finger and nothing is in that hole (i.e. you can see clearly to the bottom) then you do not need the green adapter. If instead you see a small piece of white plastic in there this is the PerfectFit valve and you do need the green adapter. Pros: Price, fit nicely in my old Maxtra jug, water flow speed from filter to bottom quite high, come equipped with a strong handle which is useful for removal. The box even includes 2 green adapters in case you lose one. Water tastes the same as it did with genuine Brita filters, I even tested both with a TDS water quality meter and the reading was the same. Cons: None. Read the instructions!

Quality of these is decent, the water clarity and taste are fine. My issue is that they claim to be universal, even stating the model of jug we have as one that these filters fit. They barely fit and look like a bodge job. They work in terms of water filtration, but do not fit my Brita jug correctly, meaning these are forced into a space too small for these. I think I will go back to the branded version next time, I believe they do a better job overall in comparison

Probably the best filter. I tested 4 different well-known brands and this stands out. Better taste, better longevity.
