101 Dalmatians

My kids and I love this film and have it on video. Was pleased to find it on Amazon at a good price as am in the process of replacing all my videos with dvds. I like the oringinal animated version of this film too but if anything I like this version even better, and Glenn Close as Cruella de Vil and her two evil henchmen are very good. The dogs ofcourse are the stars too and are as cute as anything! Recommended!

Who cannot love 101 dalmatians? This is a movie I have watched ever since I was a child and I still adore it today. If you are a lover of animals this is a great movie for you. My favourite character apart from the dogs is Anita (Joely Richardson) I love how she brings dept and strangely enough a sort of innocence to the movie. Also Cruella de Vil (Glenn Close) is a character who is most drawing upon, her evilness never ceases to amaze me, she is very much a character you love to hate but still very much drawn into, she will terrify you. Great movie for the whole family.

Once a classic always a classic. One for the family, kids will love it and the adults will snigger along as the story hurtles along. Cruella steals the show while a century of puppies run riot. Genuinely, a cracking watch that stands the test of time.

Glen Close being given the most Iconic Cruella de vil (Cruel Devil) historic role, after frightening the parents in 1987 as Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction (another Cruel Devil, that "spooked" many a grown man), and got "bunny boiler" into the dictionary. Life doesn't get better for an actress (and her fans), in being able to "do justice", to this iconic role. To also have a good range of supporting actors, allowed to "act to their own iconic strengths", stops it getting too "Disney-ised". A good Realization of a Cartoon, in my opinion, a rare thing nowadays.

The dvd was for my Grandchildren to watch. Great film. Good condition, VG price & delivery.

Absolutely love this movie. Glenn Close such a brilliant actress, in whatever role she plays. Totally lovable and laughable and I'm still trying to work out just how they got the animals to co-operate!! A film not to be missed and should definitely be included in everyone's DVD library, to savour over and over again.

We love this movie and have it on VHS but wanted to get it on DVD. I did not know about different "regions" and this DVD came from Germany and we can not play it on our DVD which I guess is coded differently. It probably had that on the order but I had never heard of the difference. Feel that it should have been highlighted more. We now have a DVD that we can't play and it wold cost as much to mail it back to Germany as we paid for it.. Was not happy, but guess I should be better informed.

I made the mistake of ordering before checking to see that this dvd is not a Region 1 dvd....so it will NOT play in the United States. The seller shipped as stated, and communicated well, however, I will never be able to watch the movie since I do not have a PAL region player, and do not live in that region. Such a shame! Learned my lesson though----MUST be more careful when choosing to order!! Always double check the region and format of dvds....otherwise, you just pay for something you can never watch. Appreciate the sellers follow-thru, but take it from the one who made the mistake: if a Disney movie is inexpensive, (almost too good to be true), it probably IS too good to be true. Be extra careful when ordering movies on DVD....otherwise, you might end up owning a bunch of movies you can never watch!

Article commander pour mes enfants....reçu rapidement mais quel déception, la langue française n'apparaît pas , en voulant renvoyer l'article , je m'aperçoit qu'ont ne peu même pas procéder au renvoi

J'ai reçu un film contrefait, il ne se lit ni dans un DVD ni dans un Blu-Ray. Je suis très déçue puisque j'en trouve nul part en magasin. Et je trouve compliqué de le retourner. J'ai de plus attendue très longtemps pour le recevoir. Dommage pour ma fille qui l'attendait avec impatience... Je devais mettre au moins une étoile mais ça en mérite par contre 0
