An excellent tape measure

I recently started a new training programme and was recommended to be successful that I 1. take pictures each week 2. Buy calipers and a tape measure and keep track of progress. This advice has been hugely beneficial. By keeping track, I've noticed I train hard, have more motivation to eat better, and feel more confident even when I don't "see" a difference, the numbers on the tape measure don't lie! The tape measure is easy to use: you pull out the tape and wrap it around whatever you're measuring, and cook it's plastic hook back into the body of the unit. Then, you simply press the red button and it contracts the tape so you can measure one armed. The body of the unit is curved so it fits well. I highly recommend picking one of these up!

This has been a great benefit to my health. Easy to use. I've used this for months and it really helped me lose weight. I would recommend it to anyone trying to get healthier. This is an average quality product at a reasonable price, and it works as expected. I have not noticed any major problems with it. That being said, the plastic is very flimsy, and I fear it won't last too long.

There are no instructions come with it and I do not understand why the ladies measurements are different to the men's. The females is on the inside of the tape and starts a full 3 inches shorter than the men's does. I know the ladies like to knock off a couple of inches but lets be realistic. LOL If you ignore the male / female side discrepancy and use only the male side ( the outer measurements for both male and female) then it is a great tool for ensuring you get consistent measurements. Place the tool against the body with the red button uppermost and pass the tape round the body and slot the round end into the hole, press the button to make sure the tape retracts all the way to remove any slack and read off the measurement inches or cm. The male (outer measurement) includes the two and a half inches of the tool so no reading adjustment needed. I do have to say I found it better to have someone read off the measurement, rather than undo it and risk it closing to the next ratchet point, but I take readings for arms, legs, neck and body for BMI, Fat% and other calculations. Great tape measure - easy to use and much more reliable than measuring yourself, as it always tightens to the same tension. Good for measuring arms and legs because you can join the tape to make a circle and then press it to close around your limb.

This product doesn’t work as the measurements are not only inaccurate when aligned with a proper measuring tape, but also the start of the tape isn’t zero. One side is 2 and the other has an inch before 1. They don’t allow refunds so you’ll be scammed out of money. Photos included.

Great product as described. Super easy to use and does the job it suppose to. I am a PT and get the client to hold it on their belly while I go around them so no need of a physical contact. Really pleased.

Ich hatte bereits ein Umfangsmessband von MyoTape was sich leider nicht mehr einrasten ließ. Daher habe ich mir dieses günstigere Model gekauft. Das Einrasten klappt zwar sehr gut, aber das Messband ist wohl mehr auf Inches ausgerichtet, die metrische Einheit ist zwar auch vorhanden,aber sehr sehr klein und schlecht lesbar. Fazit: Ganz in Ordnung mit Schönheitsfehlern.
