Excellent book for beginners!
Very good book for someone who is at the beginning of the journey of growing and using herbs. It has been very helpful to me at the beginning, it has the information I needed to start with. It covers different aspects of growing and using herbs, including lots of practical tips and ideas. For someone who is more advanced in this topic I think this book might not be enough. Excellent design! High quality images and overall design, which makes it easier to read and to find information. I highly recommend it for someone who is a beginner.

Very nice book with lovely illustrations which identifies what the things they are talking about look like. I think that is important because identifying herbs and plants needs clear illustration imo.

Beautifully illustrated and informative
This is a beautifully written and illustrated book. One of those books that is a joy to look at, can be picked up and put down every day. Even the hardback cover is lovely. The detail about each plant is both educational and historical, I love reading about the historical medicinal uses and the modern medicinal research - and the recipes for making teas, lotions and tinctures are excellent. It’s not often that a book provides pleasure for its own sake but this one does and I recommend it.
