Super well made, metal is thick enough, hard enough. Struts are spot on and overall build quality is impeccable. It is indeed tricky to install, and is always about what to install first... If you have a really straight, easy to measure setup, I advise to measure it well and put the hinges on the table top first, then screw it inside. We used an irregular palette as the base, so could not do this. But result is great nonetheless! Thank you.

Very sturdy and good quality

Bought this to give versitality to my "cookstaion' in my microcamper. They were easy to design in & assemble with the rest of the drawer. They're really solid & have made a really usable cooking area.

I made a dining table and wanted to implement storage, so these hinges seemed like the perfect solution. They’re easy to install, hold the table top down and lift with ease. The only downside is two seem quite wobbly - possibly due to the size of the table top. If myself and my wife open one side each the top opens super smooth, but it I try open it myself from the middle it wants to buckle or twist, I.e. the hinges arent super rigid in the only range of motion you’d want them to be. The solution would either be to put a brace between them (which isn’t ideal for the application I’m using them for), or possibly to use 4 instead of 2. For the purposes of what I’m using them for they work well. They could be marginally more resistant to twisting, but for the price they’re great.

Purchased these to replace the ones fitted on a store bought coffee table (sprung loaded) as they weren't up to the job - table wouldn't close properly. The attached pictures show a bracing bar which was re-used from the original design and is necessary to prevent twist in the table top when opening or closing. It took a while to get the position of the brackets right so that the closed position was correct but with a bit of measuring and trial and error, it works perfectly. Well worth the money and doesn't appear to need much tabletop weight to keep in the closed position.

Finally I made my dream bar/coffee table and couldnt have asked for better hinges! Work amazingly well. So sturdy that I can even use the table while its open. I love them. Putting them on was a bit tricky, I ended up screwing them to the bottom first. Then taking the whole table apart again except the hinges. Turning it all upside down and screwing it to the tabletop. Instructions would have been handy. Im curious if it would have been better to screw them with the plastic still attached?

No instructions included which isn’t to much of an issue although having dimensions would be handy. Easy to fit. Quite a lot of twisting movement at top end which can be rectified by using something to pack the sides out with.

These were used in a camping kitchen system I made to go in a suzuki Jimny. They lift a lid on a draw that has the gas cooker in it which becomes a small bench for use while cooking.

Es más, cuesta lo suficiente levantarlo para que no llegue al esfuerzo, y el bajado es perfecto porque no da golpe si lo haces con cuidado. Eso sí: ATENCIÓN!! Yo pequé de novato, pues era mi primera mesa, y compré las primeras bisagras que me parecieron buenas (estás) sin calcular muy bien la elevación total que tendrían. Al ponerle ruedas a la mesa, y elevar el tablero, me quedo demasiado alta, pero fue fallo mio por no calcular eso. No caigáis en lo mismo que yo, y medid bien.

These are handy little gizmos and I've used them several times in projects. They are well made and mine have stood up to repeated heavy use. A little tricky to install - if its not used on typical metal bracketed computer tables - but with a little ingenuity they can be used in most any situation as long as the material the mounting brackets are anchored to, is thick enough to hold the screws needed - and that depends on the amount of weight you are thinking of lifting with them.Use a zip tie on each side to hold them in a folded position when figuring out the whys and wheres of fitment or the powerful gas cylinder will pop them up and frustrate you.
