Wera 05075393001 1/4-Inch 1-25 N m 7000 A Torque Wrench with Reversible Ratchet - Silver

I needed something for a carbon bike for a 15Nm part that I could trust. This is well made, feels solid and has an excellent range - was keen to not be operating on the edge of the tools range - most bike wrenches only go up to 15Nm. The setting mech allows accurate selection of desired torque setting and locks so that it remains as set whilst in use. Be aware that the tool comes 'bare bones' - no sockets. If you are planning to use it for hex bolts you'll need something to covert the 1/4 inch square socket drive to a 1/4 inch hex bit holder, or something similar.

I love this. Im a WERA fan boy so may be bias but they make quality tools. Setting the torque is easy and smooth The button release/set for your sockets is solid The click from the torque setting is clear and audible. Only one niggle is that I cant get it 100% clean to one side of my bike saddle, the head of the wrench limits getting close. I can buy longer buts to get around this but bear in mind if your buying for your bike. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. Mine is solely for setting correct torque on my bike where a 1-25Nm is perfect

There is no other word for it - it is gorgeous ! I have need to do some quite intensive work on my new pushbike (changing handlebars, seatpost and installing electric drive. My ancient 3/8" drive torque wrench did not inspire confidence at low values. So, off for some research. I actually ended up buying three wrenches, two cheapish ones (1/3rd of the price of this one). One went back as soon as I looked at it in real life but the second one looks quite good and has a calibration certificate, small form factor and came with some Allen bits. I have decided to keep it to be used in my travelling toolkit should I do any touring by bike. Anyway, the reason I mention this is that the difference between this small wrench and our gorgeous Wera one is like the proverbial calcium mineral and a milk based product. The Wera is silky smooth in operation and the required torque can be dialled in absolutely precisely. Maybe gorgeous is doing it a disservice - maybe exquisite would be a better word .....

Got this for fixing bikes. Really good quality, comfortable to hold, well finished and does the job. Very happy.
