This is my first try at making apple cider vinegar. I used this to hold down the apple scrapes, it worked good for the first few days then as the apples started to shrink, the weight sunk to the bottom? I need to do some studying to see how to fix this issue. The weights were thick and good quality and none were damaged as I saw in other reviews. I will be learning more and using them again.

Fit well in a wide mouth mason jar. I use these to pack kimchi in jars. Perfect weight and clean up easily.

Finally a product with chipped edges or cracks. I've tried so many and they usually have chipped edges or develop them soon due to having rather square corners. These are slightly rounded on the corners. Not a lot but somewhat and they aren't chipped/cracked! Have been using these for several months now. No cracks or chips on the bottom edges. The foam "box" they come in protects them well and works well for storage.
