Easy to set up, use and great quality.
I have always lived my QC15 Bose headphones but hate cables (especially the adapter for the IPhone X. I bought this with the expectation that it would not be good as the wired but hopefully the sound would be acceptable. I can honestly say I cannot tell the difference. It was easy to set up, no distortion at high levels and no lag. Battery life was about 10 hours but I am very impressed with performance.

Great Product
Agree with other reviews on this works really well with my Bose Headphones and quality is excellent, So good to able to bring these phones up to date as they are in my opinion best sounding, have tried newer Bose headphones but they don't come nowhere near to the sound quality of these phones and very comfortable with great noise cancellation to boot!

Beautifully integrated Bluetooth capability for the BOSE QC15
This is pretty sturdy and fits the Bose QC15 well. In fact its almost invisible. The sound quality is.adequate - with no noticeable difference. It is a little hard to remove from the QC15 for charging. This is a bummer, as the charging uses a custom cable which plugs into the QC15 interface. This is my main concern.especially regarding the cable and replacing it if it gets lost. One other minor gripe is that the main on/off button is tricky to use and there does not appear to be an auto-off, although I may be wrong. The extra star will come with the ease of replacement of the charging cable (which I will inevitably need one day, or unit replacement if the jack breaks. Would I buy this expensive item again? SO FAR - YES.

Tidy bit of kit
There’s no other product like this on the market. There are other Bluetooth devices yes, but one that sits flush with your headphones, doesn’t weigh anything and transmits great quality sound well, this is it. Worth the extra cost in my view.

Faulty product
Worked fairly ok for 24 hours. Although, sound was distorted but i am an audiophile hence noticed the difference my wife couldn't. Then the next day something strange strarted happening. The bluetooth connects to devices only till the headphone is not switched on. As soon as i switch the headphone on the Bluetooth disconnects. I have tried re-pairing, resetting the phone nothing works. Time for refund but it was a waste of time. Looking at high reviews i got this item so wondering whether it was something to do with this particular piece being faulty. I would be interested to know the performance of the product in 6-12 months tine frame particularly given the price. I believe i was lucky that this one got faulty within the 28 day return period

Work just as you would hope.
I have been very impressed with these, they works just as expected. I have used them for several hours at a time and not had the battery go flat so I cant say what the battery life is like but it has been more than I need. They ar light and easy to keep on the headphones. A couple of small issues would be that the microphone is not great for taking phone calls with, however that is not what I bought them for. Also the indicator LED should be easier, to see. It is very hard to tell if they are on or off just by the LED and it would help to make sure that you dont leave them on if the LED was more noticeable. Overall; very very satisfied with the fit and audio quality and ease of use and a great way to go wireless without spending big money on the bluetooth version of these excellent headphones.

What a brilliant solution
What a brilliant solution. It's brought new life to my dear old QC-15 headphones and liberated me from the pesky plug and lead. I absolutely love this product. A very clever and worthwhile solution for those of us who possibly can't stump up the cost of the new Bluetooth model. And of course, the sound quality is spot on as you would expect from a headset like the QC-15

Solves a problem. Fit into the headphones could be smoother.
Quite pricey at £70 but compared to the cost of replacing my QuietComfort 15 headphones with a newer wireless pair, it's a bargain. Very easy to pair with my phone (my primary source of audio to the headphones). Plugging them in to the headphones wasn't quite so straightforward; my first attempt led to distorted audio which alarmed me somewhat. Further jiggling and a few removals and re-insertions later I was able to seat the adapter just right after which the sound came through just fine and dandy. I experience the occasional blip where the sound cuts off for a second, but I've no way of knowing whether that's due to the adapter, or my phone being particularly busy and not servicing the Bluetooth output sufficiently. On the whole though, I'm pleased enough to keep this; I enjoy my new found freedom from the cable and I don't plan on swapping back.

Gracias Amazon

This device saved me a fortune by turning my wired Bose headset into wireless!
UPDATE: June 24, 2023 Originally, I gave the AirMod a 4 ⭐ rating because of its design that 1) doesn't permit charging while using it and 2) requires use of a non-standard, proprietary cable for charging. However, I've since revised my rating to 5 ⭐. Now, 5 years after purchase, I'm still using this adapter with my Bose QC 15 headphones, which, amazingly, are still working well after 13 years! I've had to replace the ear pads on them about every 2 years, and all of the leather on the headband has nearly worn off, which means that the padding is gone, too. Yet they are still very comfortable. Before getting this AirMod adapter, I never used my QC 15 headphones. In fact, I lost the original cable that came with the headphones years ago. However, since owning the AirMod BT converter, I don't feel the need to use cables, even though I use my Bose headphones nearly every day. Even with all of that use over the past 5 years, I still get at least 6 to 8 hours of battery life per day per charge, and the AirMod has worked flawlessly with every phone and other Bluetooth device I've ever tried it with! The only reason I'm posting this update is because I came to Amazon because thought I'd lost my charging cable (I found it). I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a replacement, since the product is so old. Well, I was thrilled to know that, not only can I a purchase another AirMod for $45, which is what I paid for my current one back in 2018, but I could purchase a replacement charging cable for only $10! I'm just going to go ahead and purchase a second unit so that I will always have one charged and ready to go, since the unit can't be used while charging, and I'll also have a spare cable on hand! ORIGINAL REVIEW... Bose should just partner with these folks. I had an old Bose QuietComfort 15 headset that I was going to get rid of because I wanted the convenience of wireless. I saw this device on Amazon and decided to try it because of the large number of positive reviews. I didn't expect it to work so well! Now, I'm still using my Bose headphones at least 7 years after buying them, plus, I saved a fortune by not having to purchase the dedicated wireless pair. PROS - Fits so nicely onto the Bose headset that you'd think it was a factory mod; you can even leave it attached and the headphones will still fit nicely inside the original Bose headphone case - Good sound quality - Pairs very quickly using a dedicated pairing button - Able to control volume, fast forward to next song, and rewind to previous song CONS - Can only pair with a single device at a time. Personally, I like this feature because I don't have to worry about interruptions from another device, and since this connector pairs so quickly, switching devices is easy. - I wish it had an OFF/ON switch with dedicated positions. Instead, this connector has a single OFF/ON button that you have to hold for a few seconds. - For charging, uses a connector that is USB A to 1/16" female. I wish that it used USB A to micro-USB or USB C. When I travel, I have to always make sure to carry this extra connector with me. Fortunately, it fits nicely inside the original Bose headphones case. - The fast-forward/rewind buttons are shared with volume up/down, which is not ideal, but does save on cost. - When finished with a listening session, you have to remember to turn off both this connector and the Bose headphones themselves.

Extending the life of my QC15s
I just got this and am super happy I took a chance. It works really well so far, and with a replacement set of ear pads, I feel like I have a new set of headphones. I really didn't want to get rid of my old QC15s as they still work perfectly, and now with Bluetooth connectivity I don't need to. Really happy with the purchase.

Works.
This little gadget gave my q15 a new lease on life. Easily plugged in, charges fast and effectively connected to my iPad via Bluetooth. No interruptions, no cables and adds very little weight or size to the headphones. You won’t even know it is there. Great product, still working after a year.
