Great product and service.

My son recently started clarinet lessons and these particular reeds were recommended by his music teacher. On comparing to others they were very competitively priced I felt and ordered a couple of packs - one for my husband to use and help my son along. Within two weeks one of the reeds has split - the ones my husband are using are fine so I'm wondering if my 9 year old has perhaps been a little heavy handed with it. On the whole though they seem very good quality and better than the one the school provided for him to use.

I received these really quickly with my Amazon prime, handy as nowhere in my town sells these and when you need them you need them! I have used Rico reeds with my saxophone. I tried various other brands but it was definitely the Rico ones I preferred and seemed to get on with better. I have been struggling to get on with a clarinet which is new to me, and then I thought I'd try some Rico reeds rather than the other brand that were supplied with it. I instantly found that I preferred them as easier to play. All the Rico reeds I have bought have been good quality and I will continue to use this brand.

very good product as expected

My son needed reeds for his clarinet. As a musical 'ignoramus' - my travels started by learning about the different strengths of reed - the lower the number (1) the softer the reed and the easier it is (apparently) to get a good tone/pitch from it. More advanced players graduate to harder reeds (up to 5) which produce a 'heavier' fuller sound. My research also told me that RICO were one of the top brands. Delivery was swift & all-in-all good value.

I bought these for my 10 year old son that will be starting band in September. I first bought the 2.5 and he could not play, so I order 1.5 and then he had awesome tune.
