Pro: -sleek design -has a cord. I don't like the ones that dock directly to a Macbook - it looks like one wrong move would bend or break the connectors and damage the adaptor or laptop -has all the connectors I need. Con: -Expensive -Gets rather hot Overall, it is excellent.

Smart looking little adapter, which feels well made and has all the connections you would need. Transfer speed seems good, and not had any crashes yet. Haven't owned/used it for long, so not sure about quality but does feel well made. Please note you will need a USB type C port, which I have on my laptop and it works perfectly fine on both a PC and Macbook.

I was searching a lot to buy a good adapter for my Macbook Pro and I think this is one of the best ones out there. It's overpriced in my opinion. The adapter itself seems like it's plastic with an aluminum cover. Been using it only for a day and it works good. The only huge problem as other mentioned here before is the overheating. It overheats a lot! And I mean a lot! And it does that only if you use one of the ports so keep that in mind.

It's always difficult with electronic accessories to know which unknown brands will perform well. I bought three of these for my staff over a year ago and they are still going strong. For myself I'd bought a different type, a cheaper one, but unfortunately that's failed already, so I decided to replace it with this type, considering how reliable they have been. The product looks good quality as well as performing well. I'd have no hesitation in buying this product again, in fact it is on my equipment list for any new starters we might have in the future.

Size, performance is all good. Connector lead could be longer to allow the MacBook to sit in vertical stand with vent at top. Major flaw is the RJ45 socket does not securely hold plug, tried multiple connectors but none lock solidly. Would have been 5* otherwise.

This is the only hub that I don’t have issues with. Sometimes it’s getting hot but probably that is normal. All other hubs that i had are randomly disconnecting my Hard Drives. But that issue is gone with this hub. Very nice aluminium, feels premium.

Reminder to self: trust your instincts and don't go with cheap option. Dropped connections repeatedly and in apparently random combinations with three attached SSD drives which had behave flawlessly previously. On several occasions dropped the main connection, so all 3 drives disconnect. Also gets ludicrously hot in use, whether there's any disk activity or not. Heading for the next available skip.

J’ai utilisé des Hub USB-C de différentes marques et c’est le modèle de satechi qui fonctionne le mieux. En HDMI 4K 60Hz l’image est stable durant de longues sessions de travail. Et je peux même utiliser une rallonge usb-c pour un rangement des cables à la péripherie de l’espace de travail.

In overall I like this multi port adapter. The colour and shape exactly match with my MacBook Pro 2020. Just 1 day I have used since I bought two days back. I have transferred approximately over 50GB data, so far I don’t have any complaints, worked well. I felt little bit hot on the multi port adapter (may be that’s normal during data transfer), otherwise no complaints at all. Very good finishing, not heavy, the ports are well fits. I recommend to anyone who really need a good quality multi port for their MacBook or similar.

Ik gebruik de hub met een iPad Air 5. Die heeft slechts 1 usb C aansluiting, wat wel erg weinig is. Ik kan nu goed uit de voeten met deze hub: heeft weliswaar 3 usb A 3.0 aansluitingen, maar dat is voor mij voldoende.
