It works well for my horse keep the laminitis at a level ,she can still out and enjoy a walk around the field

Looks and feels like gravel. Needs soaking first for my old horse with crewing issues. But does the job, cheaper option to liquid varieties and it arrived quick.

After my horse broke his already arthritic hock last year (by kicking a stone wall) - which healed but he was still lame - and bute flared up his collitis within 5 days of use i thought he would have to be put to sleep to spare him pain. Decided to explore all options to give him a chance at retirement and this product - even at a very low dose - pretty much saved his life. Although it can in the long run cause stomach ulcers, even at a low dose the horse is sound, and giving him a 1 month break every 6 months seems to be enough for him to protect his gut against the irritation it causes (in conjunction with a good gut balancer). The horse is now 100% sound except on exceptionally cold damp days and able to do light work, which stops the joint he broke from stiffening up and becoming sore. He also finds it more palatable in its raw form than powdered/dissolved (can be fed in any of these ways). Since he is no longer able to compete there are no worries about it being detected on swab. And because it is relatively long lasting it continues to work for most of the 1 month break, so if needed he would be able to have more frequent breaks in future. Would recommend to anyone whose horse has a similar problem and no longer competes - just have to avoid if competing in dressage as it is tested for now.

I used this for my 30 year old horse , I'm not sure if it made much difference. Ok for the price though
