This works just fine, as long as it installed the right way. Compared to the original gasket, which has more of a square profile, the new gasket is more of a rectangular profile. Initially, I installed the new gasket with a wider profile down into the grove. That did not work. I then compared to the orientation of the original gasket. I then has to cut another piece, as the narrow profile results in a different length. However, it absolutely works.

I have two different generations/styles of glasslock containers. The gasket fits both, but one of them a bit better. For both, it needs to be oriented vertically, as another reviewer pointed out. It helps to cut it slightly longer than you think you need and then compress the ends into the track so there’s a better seal against both cut ends. They’re not as good as the originals, but they’ll get the job done if you’re trying to squeeze a couple more years out of your old containers. I imagine they’ll be a PITA to clean, with water getting inside and underneath the gaskets.

Works great, perfect fit and easy to use! We had mold that wasn’t coming off our previous gaskets and this comes with a lot so we can use it to replace many times. Definitely recommend.

I ordered this to use as a replacement for the silicon sills around the lids of my glass food storage containers. It works well and helps to provide a tighter fit for the lid, but it doesn't make the lid leak proof like the original silicon sills that came with the product. I still like this product because I don't often put items with a lot of liquid that could leak out, in the containers, as I use them to hold my lunch items. I would put soup or other liquid items in something different anyway. I think this product is easy to use, you just cut the length of tube you need to fit around the lid and then stick that around your lid. It can sometimes be fiddly and fall out of the lid before you get it on the container, but I didn't have that hard of a time getting it to stay, hence the 4 stars. The sill is easy to clean, and ready to go for the next day.

Doesn’t fit

Replaced a seal on a tea pitcher that broke and was leaking anyway, and tea was going inside channel making it look like it was molding🫤 These are thicker than the original, but cutting to size and wedging it into the lid’s housing made it much more leak proof and tight. Even with the cut on one side, it’s still not leaking.👍🏼 I bought 2 sets so I’ll have more than I need for the 2 pitchers I have. They’ll also fit other lids with same system probably. Thumbs up for me!
