Whats the pack of white crystals for in the tub?

Hi I've just received this product and the pack was water retaining granules to mix in your soil/compost ie great for hanging baskets.

Is this product appropriate to use for lawn maintenance and establishment?

I would recommend empathy lawn liquid 1L plant food as it is still seaweed based and from the same manufacturer.

Can you buy additional gel?

Sorry can not help, I have never used the Gel

Hi, i'm confused - is this a 5l tub of power plus separately packaged gel? or is the gel included in the 5l tub? thanks.

The gel is in a separate sachet within the tub. If planting bare root plants you mix it in water, a bit like wallpaper paste, before adding the mycorrhizal. You can discard the gel if you are planting pot grown plants as it is not required.
