Excellent product, although a little pricey
I bought these when I replaced my landscape lights and used 10G wire, but it turns out that the connectors on the lights fit the wire with no problem, so I only ended up using 4 nuts. I had bought 2 packs :'-( The ones that I did use were excellent! I had to splice (3) 10G wires and (1) 18G wire together near a small goldfish pond (read, moist soil), and this fit perfectly and screwed on nice and tight. The caulk on the inside sealed them up perfectly, so even after burying them in the wet soil there was no voltage drop. As others said, the caulk is SUPER sticky!! After I screwed each one on, though, I picked up some dirt and rubbed it in to my hands; that worked fine to remove the stickiness, and washed off later with no problem. I kind of think that I could have saved some money by using regular wire nuts and just squirting silicone caulk in it before screwing in the wire, but I'm not positive it would have been the same. These were good for the job, though, I just wish that I would have realized that I had overpurchased earlier so I could at least return one of the packs.

Great
They work great on 12 gauge wire

Excellent quality weather-proof outdoor connectors
For outdoor installations, nothing seems to beat these. This size is the perfect size for protecting a joint of two to three 12-14 gauge wires stripped and twisted WELL about one another with a good twist tool (a good 5/8 inch twisted stranded copper exposed AFTER the splice, so I strip 3/4 inch or so). I have also used for solid copper 14-3 type because "I had them" but probably unnecessarily in that case. I recently re-wired a section of landscape lighting that had been in place (in central TX, so ranging from 110F to -17F over the time frame in question) for over FOUR years. In a landscape bed that gets constant irrigation (2-3 cycles a week). Not because the caps failed, because I was splicing in another line run to add more lights. The copper twisted wire ends were still bright and oxidation free in their bed of goop. The goop was still goopy. (IF these have a downside, it's that you'll use a lot of rags or paper towels rubbing the goo that pulses out of them when torquing down off your fingers. The struggle is worth it.) I was tempted to re-use the same wire nut, but assume once you've lost some of the protective goop their weatherproofing has been compromised. Why risk it when I have more and they've clearly done the job. I won't personally use anything else for in-ground purposes, not in a junction box. I've even left a few 'poking up' out of mulch beds as visible reminders of where wiring is so I don't blindly hack into it while weeding (just behind landscape stones so not an eyesore to street view, but probably do catch some UV over the course of years) and have seen no degradation of materials. Even the aqua color doesn't seem to fade.

Works as expected
This product works as expected although there are a couple of minor frustrations I have with this product and others like it. First, when a major usage is for low voltage landscape wiring, I am not sure why they are not manufactured in earth tones instead of bright colors. Giant bright blue and red wire nuts really stand out in an undesirable way in a landscape bed. Secondly, it is hard to shop for these, colors seems to correspond to size but what size do I need? The information presented is minimal, just a comma delimited list of wire size+count options. I've tried to find a nice comprehensive table that lays out all the size options that also presents what wire gauge and count combinations that each size supports, but have yet to find anything- certainly seems to be nothing in the product descriptions here on Amazon.

DryConn connections are better!
I’ve used several quick connectors over many years but finally opted for these DryConn versions. Easy — once I got the hang of it and the connection isn’t as fragile as the “quick” kind!

Essential if you have wired landscape lighting.
If you have wired landscape lighting, these are the ONLY connectors to use. Waterproof.

Great quality - just perfect
I found other options at half the cost. Decided to go with a brand name product because I do not want to deal with electrical issues and damaged equip down the road... These definitely show great quality!!. I am happy with the purchase

Great for outdoor wiring
Love these. They’re more expensive than some of the no-name brands. But they work better for some reason. I’ve tried no name once and I’ve re-ordered these three times. I have extensive outdoor wiring in my home and they are my go to.

good product
works well wished they sold this in a smaller size

Pretty big
If using for irrigation you'll probably want smaller ones.

Come the spring after trying these wire connectors I would be more than happy to comment further on how they perform
I received the connectors and gave them a rating of 4 out of 5 based upon how they looked and imagining how they would perform. The thing is that I bought these in preparation for doing some more outdoor wiring come the spring when I intend to add some more lights to my outdoor garden and seating area. Come the spring after trying these wire connectors I would be more than happy to comment further on how they perform.
