Fantastic automatic feeder for wet food!! After changing my working base to office instead of home working there was nobody to feed my cat while I was working. Our cat sitter bill was ridiculous and I’m glad I found this. This machine is great, easy to use, not too big or bulky, and does exactly what it should. My cat only eats 3x a day, and I did want the smaller version however it was unavailable when I went to purchase however having this 5 section feeder is no bother, means I have spare sections if it’s ever needed. Definitely recommend, definitely buy it don’t sit on the fence about it!!

I bought this automatic feeder on the recommendations from some other people I know in a local volunteer cat fostering community. My current foster cat is food obsessed and likes to eat regularly. This automatic feeder is helpful for the days when I'm going to be out for a while - such as when I am working in the office or visiting friends and might not be back home in time for the regular feeding time. Good - My foster cat has a fat head, so the size of the portion trays actually slows him down from eating so quickly (when compared to him eating from a saucer). The sides also help to keep the food in the feeder rather than being flicked onto my kitchen floor. The auto-feeder is fairly ease to use, and is reliable. It is easy to clean. For future improvements to the product, the manufacturers could consider introducing something such as the owner being able to record their voice, a pss-pss-pss sound, or the sound of shaking a pouch of Dreamies (possibly combined with a phone app the owner could activate) so that the cat could better understand when food was available. This would hopefully avoid the need for the owner to have to get out of bed from the constant pawing and licks to the face just to go and point to the feeder at 4am!

Perfect, just what I needed. 5 slots so has you covered for 1 feed immediately then 4 more. Love that it comes with ice packs to help keep food fresher for longer. And sturdy enough to survive my surprisingly strong rescue cat and his attempts to steal extra food. Worth the money for sure.

The automatic cat feeder is very easy to use and feeds my cat regularly without any problems. I would recommend this product to other people as it works very well.

Maurice here, the elder statesman of the house. I like my meals on time, without fuss, and preferably before those two hooligans, Claude and Hygge, come tearing through like a hurricane. Thankfully, with two of these brilliant machines, my refined dining experience remains undisturbed. Now, Claude and Hygge? They don’t take food as seriously as they should. They bolt, chase each other, knock things over, and then return later for their rations. Thankfully, the C500 doesn’t mind their erratic ways—it just sits there, like a trusty jail warden, serving up meals whether they remember to show up or not. The humans call it “prison” when they leave us for a few days, but to be honest, it’s hardly hard time when you’ve got five hidden food compartments per machine, a digital timer that ensures precision feeding, and even ice packs to keep things fresh (though I’d much prefer it kept things warm—but alas, no justice in the feline penal system). After four days of “solitary confinement” (as the humans dramatically put it), they return, expecting cuddles and no resentment. Well, maybe I’ll let them off easy—after all, this machine kept us fed and in top condition while they were off gallivanting. Verdict? Claude and Hygge say: “A lifesaver for two scatterbrained cats who forget to eat.” Maurice says: “A well-oiled machine that ensures dining order is maintained. I approve.” Five stars. Now, where’s my next meal?

This is an excellent product and is very simple to use. I own a cat that is totally obsessed with food. So much so that he woke us at night to be fed. So I started using timers about 8 years ago. He has worked his way through a few now. The first one was a simple two tray timer that he could easily lift the lid on and access the food. I then found the Trixie TX6. This was find for a while but the lock was weak and he eventually could open it. Also, it had the disadvantage that it the lid rotated around a central pivot. So the cat could push the lid to access the food. It also blocked with a tiny amount of food which made it make a horrendous noise and was very frustrating. Then I found the C500 and I'm delighted. The key for me is that the lid is static and the tray sits on a base and the tray rotates when required. It means the cat cannot access the other trays. He tried several times but not two weeks in has accepted defeat and does not tamper with it. The mechanism is quiet. No beeping, but don't worry your cat will hear the motor go. Also, I see complaints here about the clock and timer being complicated and over-engineered. I could not agree with that. You can set up to four meal times and the device will simply repeat that each day. So if you put two times in , the cat will be fed 4 times over two days. It's very simple. It will just keep going. This is great as compared to the TX product, it had a max of 6 servings and if you did not reset it would not work even if you loaded it with food, Stupid and unnecessary complication. Also, you do not need to enter times in order, as the clock looks after that itself. Overall delighted with the product and I cannot recommend it enough.

This pet feeder is easy set up and use; I have set it up for my cat to trial it before we go away for the weekend. The ice packs seem to have kept the food fresh as she has eaten the last portion this morning even though it’s been in the feeder for a day and a half in quite a warm house. It is surprisingly quiet when it moves round and my anxious cat has been fine with it. The bowl areas fit two pouches of cat food but you need to be careful it doesn’t stick up or it goes all over the lid and smears round. I am not giving this item five stars as the timer is not flexible enough in my opinion. You set the times (up to 4) and then it just moves round at the set time....so far so good. But, for example, I am leaving for the weekend in the late afternoon and didn’t want it to come on til the next morning as I’ll feed her as I leave, but this wasn’t an option as the timer is very simple....I thought I could set it to come on in any order I wanted so I put 7:30am as the first time to move round, then 6:30pm as the next one....but once I’d set the times, it switched them round so that the first feed would be given on the evening I left. This means she’s not getting fed on the evening of the second full day I’m away; I’ve still got to get someone to feed her on the second day as I’m not back til the second morning. I think a delay setting would really make this a five star item as I like everything else about it.....but for an automatic pet feeder, the timing is a vital component. I think now I’ve used a pet feeder and I know my cat is ok with it, I’d spend more to get one with a more sophisticated timer.

This product met all my requirements; easy to use, easy to clean and reliable for feedings of wet food at set intervals. I have a small dog with digestive issues and she requires small feedings of wet prescription dog food several times during the overnight. It has not failed to deliver during the 2 months that I have been using. The ice packs are a necessity when trying to keep the food fresh in the compartments and they stay cold for many hours. I like how easy it is to fill at night and clean up the next morning with the plastic tray where the food is kept. She has not been able to get into the covered compartments with the one piece lid and has not been able to cover it up with her crate fleece when her stomach is telling her food is a bad thing because of it's size. I do have a large sized crate and there is enough room for our 8 lb dog to lie down comfortably and for this unit to sit in the corner. This close setup also lets her know when the next compartment is being rotated so she can eat. It does make a small noise when rotating and may wake some people if used during the night in the same room. I have learned that the batteries can jar lose if for instance, it drops off of the top of the crate, where I keep it during the day. However setting it up again is simple. 5 compartments are available (1 immediate feed and 4 timed feedings.) I do not have a dog which chews and those who do may have to weigh whether their small dog would chew up the plastic lid trying to get at the food in the compartments. My dog sniffs earnestly for a few minutes trying to get at the food when I first put it in the crate and then lets it go. This feeder has saved my sanity in that I no longer have to set alarms to get up to feed her during the night. Great product at a great price. I hope the longevity of the rotating mechanism is equally as good.

Excelente para lo que necesitaba. Mi gato requiere una mezcla muy específica de comida y porciones exactas por peso, y este comedero me permite prepararlo todo con antelación y cubrir hasta 24 horas sin que yo tenga que estar presente. Funciona perfectamente y es muy fiable para un control preciso de la alimentación. Como pequeños inconvenientes: las hormigas pueden entrar, así que conviene tenerlo en cuenta si tienes ese problema en casa. Además, el reloj no es totalmente preciso y parece atrasarse alrededor de un minuto cada pocos días, pero no es un gran problema y se ajusta fácilmente. En general, muy satisfecho y totalmente recomendable si tu gato necesita comidas planificadas y medidas con precisión.

Easy to use, good sized food trays, easy enough to clean, the icepacks are a nice touch and it's been very reliable so far. No more being woken up early by hungry cats. I find you can also freeze food in the trays as well as using the ice packs to get a couple extra days worth of feeding. Makes it very useful for trips that might last around 4 days (depending on the weather). Took a while for the cats to get used to food magically appearing without having to meow at me, but they figured it out eventually.
