Excellent! Helped me remove a very rusty exhaust hanger bolt.
Great quality bolt extractors! I bought the Thinkpro 17 Piece 1/2" drive bolt extractor set because I needed to remove a very seized/rusty exhaust hanger bolt on my 2004 Honda Accord and I thought I would need the leverage that a 1/2" drive bolt extractor would provide. And the set includes 12 mm, 13 mm (1/2"), and 14 mm (9/16") bolt extractor sockets and I knew I would need at least one of those sizes (on a very stripped 14 mm bolt head). I used the 12 mm and the 13 mm and they worked great. The deep socket design made them easier to hammer on than my 3/8" shallower set and I got the bite I needed pretty quickly. Most sets on the market seem to be shallower 3/8" sets and didn't think they would give me enough leverage for the job. I finished the job using a Llndei multi-spline bolt extractor set as I didn't want to risk snapping off what was left of the bolt head. Regardless, the Thinkpro set was a great help to me in starting the job. I'm very happy I had this set on hand and I thought the price was very reasonable. Tools/supplies used (for the Thinkpro bolt extractor stage of the job): 1. 24" breaker bar - 1/2" drive 2. Neiko impact extensions (8", 6" and 3") - 1/2" drive 3. Husky engineer hammer - 4 lb. 4. Kroil penetrating oil If you're in the market for a metric bolt extractor set I would skip the 3/8" drive sets altogether and just get this Thinkpro set. . .and maybe get a multi-spline set just in case. Great quality, worked as intended (great bite and leverage), good size range, held up well (no significant wear on the inner grooves and they cleaned up nicely / nice finish), and the price was very reasonable.

Great quality product works as claimed
Works as described I pulled a stripped bolt out. It bites in deep into the head of the bolt and extacts it ! The bolt I had to get out was torque at 140 ft lbs and I was able to remove. Of course you have to replace the bolt with a new one.

Must-Have Tool for Stubborn Bolts and Nuts
I recently purchased the THINKPRO 17 PCS Impact Bolt & Nut Remover Set, and it has been a lifesaver for removing damaged and rusted bolts. The upgraded extractor kit is top-notch and works perfectly for stripped or frozen lug nuts, making what used to be a frustrating job much easier. The set includes a wide range of sizes, so I always have the right tool for the job. The extraction sockets have a strong grip and make quick work of even the toughest bolts. The quality of the tools is excellent—durable and built to last. I used this kit on a few rusted nuts, and it removed them without any issues, saving me time and stress. If you're looking for a reliable and effective tool kit for tough bolt removal, this is definitely the one to get!

They work on chrome wheel lock-nuts.
I used these on my son's chrome , grooved type lock nuts on his Tahoe and they got them off without ruining them. Which is good because I found his lock "key" socket when we weren't looking for it, lol. But if they can grip heavily chromed wheel lock nuts I have no doubts at all that they'll grip softer bolts and nuts if needed. I used a rechargeable 1/2 inch impact driver , tapped them on until they gripped to the point where I couldn't hand spin it then hit it with the gun and they dug right in and removed the torqued on lock nuts. Only did very minimal damage because they dug in so well and the key made for the lock nuts was able to still fit in the patterned grooves so we can now re-use them with no problem. Not sure how they would do with just the chrome coated tin covered lug nuts or lock nuts, they'd probably get torn up pretty good as the tool dug it's way into the actual metal under it but that's a way better problem to have than not being able to take your wheel(s) off if they need to be repaired, replaced or other work needs to be done like breaks or other repairs that need the wheels off. They don't look that aggressive but they certainly do the intended job. I'm sure stripped Grade 8 nuts & bolts will be no problem at all.

Easy work
Wow, works better than expected. Exceeded my expectations. While trying to remove my exhaust, one of the flange nut got stuck causing it to round up. I bought two sets of extractor socket prior to using this brand. The first set was a brand from a local auto part, ORLY, the sales rep told me it was the best brand. They never had a returned on the extractor sockets. The sockets would not bite into the rounded nut, all it did was slipping off the rounded nut. I was probably the first customer to return their extractor sockets. The second set was from another local auto part, AZO, this set of extractor sockets bites into the grounded nut as expected but the downside was that the socket was not strong enough. The socket broke, ended up returning the set. This set arrived, I spent about 5 minutes and it broke loose the rounded nut. It's a great set of extractor sockets. Would recommend to anyone trying to extract any rounded nut or bolts.

Highly recommend!
I can't recommend this set more than anything in my entire arsenal of tools. The built quality is really there, there's a rod you can use to knock out the bolt's inside of the socket and they grip hard.

Worked as expected and saved me from a tow
When I realized that the nut on the end of my oil filter stripped as I tried to remove, I tried a ton of other ways to get the filter out. Bought a few different types of oil filter wrenches, tried vice grips, tried the old screwdriver through the filter; nothing worked and the placement of the oil filter made it really tough to get in close. I spent hours trying to get this filter off and figured I would just have to have the car towed (since I put a hole in the filter) and have a mechanic get it out. That night I remembered I had an extractor set like this one, but the sizes were too small for the nut on the top of this filter. Found that I needed a 25mm which was included in this set. Received this set overnight (awesome!) and when I turned the filter, it latched on and old took a minute to finally remove. The money spent was totally worth the savings of having to tow the car and pay someone else to remove the filter. All these extractors are on the large side, so make sure you know exactly the size bolt or nut you are trying to remove before you purchase.
