Fitted to my lads Carrera MTB which is used every day on paper round and then in weekdays for two mile trip to school and back. He was getting punctures once or twice a week - picking up shrapnel on his round and thorns on the backtrack to school. We got so good at replacing inner tubes on rear wheel that we could enter timed events. But now - that's a thing of the past. Chose this specific one as it has that little strip of shielding - and in the last six months not a single puncture. We're so out of practice at fixing inner tubes we're going to have to retire gracefully and hand the timed event trophy back! But on the bright side - that's a good thing. Already mentioned about these to some poor unfortunate soul outside Asda fiddling about with a puncture repair kit. Hope he saw the light too.

Very good quality and I had kenda and this is a very big upgrade I'm going to wait and see how long will last because I had many punctures before with kenda and hopefully this is gonna last many months

Oh well the idea is good puncture right in the Centre of the tyre so not any better than normal tyres very very disappointed s small thorn in the Centre maybe it was 6 mm long penetrating the 5 mm belt ! No count on them saving you then

Had some shwalbe 'smart sam' tyres and after third puncture in a week I bought these. More expensive than a car tyre, but punctures soon stopped. Excellent reflective band on the sidewall and are a good hybrid on/off road tyre. Very happy and hope they will come down in price or do a discount for two. Quite heavy but that is to be expected.

I took a long time making my mind up about changing my tyres despite incurring a number of punctures. I found these and now I wish that I'd done it sooner they are so good it feels like I have extra suspension despite the 50 lb pressure. I am pleased they are flatless and I can concentrate on riding without interuption/

Marathon much firmer at same pressure, runs very quietly on hard surfaces, well planted when pressure dropped. If puncture resistant works will buy again. Black Jack had about as much puncture resistant as a balloon. Had good results with decathlon filled tubes but when they failed you wind up repairing 3 or 4 punctures.

These are outstanding tires in my view. Very hard-wearing and resistant to punctures, even after years of cycling over blackthorn and hawthorn strewn paths. The new ones seem to be performing just as well as the old ones.

Grips well and get good mileage out of a tyre. My second set so far

I read a few tips on how to install this tire and everything went smoothly.The tire was delivered early and was packaged unbelievably well and Amazon's price was considerably lower than any place in the local bike shops or online.
