Does the toddler mattress sit directly on the floor or is off the floor within the bed frame?

How are the bolts supposed to go in order to hold front and sides on toddler bed? I cannot make them go in and hold everything together.

I would go back over the instructions to ensure you didn’t miss a step, I followed them closely and had no problem putting all together. Also, aligning the bolts does take a little wiggling since there is a small amount of play.
