Gehwol Ingrown Toenail Softening Fluid 15ml for Ingrowing Toenails

I’ve been using this religiously on both my big toes, for over a month now and I am amazed. I also bought a set of tools that Amazon sell, for ingrown toes and use these alongside, but to be honest, I haven’t needed them for a couple of weeks. I had been experiencing on and off pain with the ingrown nails as they gripped into the ‘groove’ of skin up each side of my nail, which was only ever relieved by me cutting my toenails down further and further at the sides. Not any more. The ‘groove’ has now magically filled in and healed and my nails are growing as they should, with no pain. My big toenails are starting to look normal again. You do have to use this regularly, every day and carry on, to ensure it works, but that isn’t an issue as it takes seconds. One of the best things I’ve ever bought.

I bought this to help soften the skin on my big toes and the toenail itself to make it easier to cut and trim, after 1 use it was such a big difference. It worked within a couple of hours and softened both the nail and the skin, within a week my ingrown toenail had improved a lot. It seems like such a small bottle but it does only take 1 or 2 drops making it very good value.

Having read the positive reviews I decided to try it for treating ingrown nails on both big toes. Whilst I wouldn't use it in place of a podiatrist for everything I wanted to try a first step. I applied twice daily, after showers. Previously my nails would yield only a minute amount, in order for me to clean away build up of skin, and then continue to grow in to the skin which was getting increasingly painful. I could no longer wear some of my favourite shoes! However, I began to notice a softening of the skin under the nail after application which could be removed with a suitable pedicure tool. This was on the second day. By the end of the 4th day of twice daily application I noticed that my nail was not curling back into its usual ingrowing position. I didn't dig away at the skin each time once the initial build up had been cleaned away as I don't think that's very healthy in the long term. However I do think this product is helping to keep that skin build up away. Just drops down the side and under the head of the nails seemed to be enough. I continued to apply twice daily for a week. Day 7 my nails were noticeably growing on a different trajectory and my shoes were not pressing uncomfortably on my toes. I cut application down to every 3 days as my nails are now more malleable. I can now coax my nails into a more healthy growing position as a result of using this product. I don't know if this product would work on ram's horn nails etc which I think would need the expertise of a podiatrist. It certainly helped me to walk without pain for every excrutiating step. I think my genetics mean that I have a tendency to ingrown toenails but this has certainly earned a place in my medicine cabinet as a staple item for feet management.

Used for 2 weeks up to now. Definitely stopped the soreness and nails look better. Still hasn't effected involouted nails though but will continue to use.

The jury is still out on this. I've been using on my son's ingrown toenail for three months. It seems to prevent infection. There is definitely less pus. Nail is softer though still ingrowing and too sore for me to cut (I would if it were my own toe!) It doesn't sting him, even though it's practically an open wound. A bottle does last for AGES. And, unlike other reviews, the dropper on the bottle is absolutely fine, don't try to shake the liquid out, just hold the bottle at about 45 degrees aiming it where you need it, and just press on the side of the nozzle to bend it slightly and you will get a perfect drop. I've been using two drops on my son's toe. But all in all I think it's more of a positive than negative experience with this.

Don't usually write reviews. I'm 53 and had two ingrown toe nails since I was 17. Lost both big nails wearing new dms dancing all night. For years i dealt with the pain by cutting my nails going down the sides. Recently I was finding it hard to do this (age). Now I cut my nails straight across. I promise you this stuff is incredible. This is the 2nd one I have brought. It took about a couple of weeks to work, I applied it after shower every evening. Now I only apply it every 3 days. Brilliant stuff, I will have to stock up on it. Thanks for the invention.

This product worked in literally 2 days of using . A once Painful , red and swollen toe . To now perfect ! No idea how , but worked a miracle! Would definitely recommend !

Arrived quickly, wrapped in a few layers of bubble wraps. It came in different packaging (as shown in the photo), which threw me off for a bit. People complain about the nozzle. The sides of the nozzle are soft, and gently squeezing them allows you to dispense a single drop. After two days I feel relief. I can walk without limping! I don't know how it works, the toenail is still bent. I looked on the Gehwol website. What I was sent was Gehwol fluid and not the nail softener emollient. It seems to work but contains different ingredients. This might be a result of the new packaging.

Let me start by saying. I am a 33 year old being that has always suffered from ingrown toenails in my big toes. I remember in my teenage years working retail and having to work 14+ hours standing up and most of the time with the extreme discomfort of having ingrown toenails digging into/through my skin. In my early 20’s I lived with the pain for some months because the pain in attempting to cut it out myself would damn near make me want to faint. Now fast forward to these last 2 months where my mother was the last person to cut my nail out as I was in tears and excruciating pain but little did we know that there was still a piece left. Just last week I had some running around to do and because of the pain I had to walk around in house slippers throughout the city while running my errands. Being a single mother with no personal time (pto) remaining from work, I had to try to squeeze in any appointments around my schedule. I tried calling to make an appointment to have my nail surgically removed until the receptionist told me that the only appointment they had available for the day I was able to come in, was all the way across town (my daughter has an appointment on this day and it would’ve been too out-of-the-way for me to travel with her that far) so ultimately, I wasn’t able to keep the appointment. I was desperately trying to find SOMETHING so that I could relieve myself from the pain, so, I turned to my dear friend ‘Google’ where I searched ‘how to numb ingrown toenail’ or something along those lines… & it lead me to THIS!!! I was skeptical about it working even though I read some reviews on here about it.. just because a few years ago, an ex boyfriend of mine bought me a tiny tube that was for ingrown toenails (I think it was Dr. Scholls but I’m not 100% sure) and it DID NOT work. I was so very disappointed over it I just thought I’d have to live with this inconvenience for the rest of my life.. until I tried THIS OIL and My God!! It took me less than 5 minutes to remove the TINIEST piece of nail from inside of my toe (it was literally growing inside of my toe, inward.. to the point that I have a tiny hole there now where it was growing in/through). I went ahead and ordered a pack of ingrown toenail instruments too that made it so much easier. I have never been so pleased with a product before. Those of you who have suffered long and hard over this feeling KNOW exactly what I mean when I say that THIS is a life changer! Being that it’s on the pricey side, I really thought long and hard before ordering.. COMPLETELY worth EVERY CENT! I called my mother as soon as I accomplished getting the nail out because she knew the pain I was in. I will forever be grateful for this invention and will recommend to any and everyone for as long as I live! Not until you’ve lived through the inconvenience, discomfort, excruciating pain of an ingrown toenail will you understand how grateful someone like me will be over a product like this that in a way, gives you your life back! Again, if I could rate this a 10 out of 10 I would and would recommend to anyone who is tired of the pain and discomfort and just wants to live their lives free of ingrown toenail pain! (People who’ve never experienced this, will never know how much of an inconvenience just a tiny piece of nail could cause in your entire life.. I’ve had to cancel plans over the years over it.. something SO TINY yet so impactful!) I can’t stress this enough, GET THIS!! And I pray it works for you as much as it worked for me! #GetYourLifeBack! (In the video, I am trying to show you the oil, I was holding the phone with 1 hand so, excuse the shakiness.. all you have to do is twist open the top and the oil will come out effortlessly into wherever you’re trying to pour it into.. SUPER Easy. I let it sit for a good 5-10 minutes and then put some more oil as I was preparing to take it out. Felt no pain, only a bit of pressure)

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per un problema alle unghie, dopo aver letto le recensioni positive del prodotto, e devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto del prodotto, che tra le altre cose non conoscevo. Iniziamo col dire che il prezzo proposto da Amazon è molto competitivo, infatti in farmacia lo stesso prodotto costa almeno un euro in più, inoltre c'è la spedizione senza costi aggiuntivi, quindi si può riceverlo a casa tranquillamente. Veniamo al prodotto, all'interno della confezione ci sono le modalità di uso e le indicazioni terapeutiche che recitano: "Ammorbidisce l'unghia e lo strato corneo periungueale in pochi giorni, previene l'incarnirsi delle unghie, protegge dall'inspessimento eccessivo dello strato corneo periungueale e restituisce elasticità e morbidezza". ne vanno applicate due gocce per unghia,mattina e sera per qualche giorno, e il risultato si vede, devo dire che a distanza di più di un mese di utilizzo ne sono più che soddisfatto, inoltre ho risparmiato anche i soldi del podologo facendo da me. Ho abbinato questo prodotto ad un kit Bizarre per la pedicure, altrettanto utile. Quindi in definitiva posso dire: 👍 Prezzo concorrenziale e spedizione gratuita. 👍 Rispecchia quanto indicato nella descrizione, e fa quello che dice. 👍 Si risparmiano i soldi dell'eventuale podologo che costa molto di più del prodotto. 👍 E' dermatologicamente testato. In definitiva a mio parere è promosso a pieni voti, e nel mio caso ha funzionato egregiamente.

By far the best product available for in-grown toe nails! Just a small amount will not only relieve the pressure, but will help the nails grow flatter. Highly recommend!
