Pretty incredible results
My problem was a rock-hit on the windscreen 6 months ago which created an impact that had a centre point and two cracks on either side, The overall length of the cracks was around 15mm (just over half inch). After being quoted £160 by a popular auto glazier, I thought I'd try this first. In short, this stuff must be using some kind of witchcraft, the results are essentially flawless. I read the instructions, pretty simple process (assuming you can get some sunlight). The final step of the process is cover the repair up with a small transparent plastic sheet to assist with the curing process - my problem is I couldn't actually see the repair by this stage because it was almost invisible! This crack had to be fixed because it was in the driver's view and a failure on the MOT, however the process is so simple and good that I'll be using it on a couple of small cracks on my other car that are on the passenger side and have been ignored for years. I don't now what kind of results you'd get for a long crack but certainly for my kind of impact, it is a deeply impressive product.

Good product does what it states
Bought this item as I bought a new car last week and already managed to get a chip in my screen, I would be able to get it repaired free of charge as I’m a technician however it would be getting drilled at my own risk. So I looked for less brutal options and came across this item it was delivered on time and finally got round to using it today. Instructions were very easy to follow, trying to line the device up to the centre can be tricky and would be better if it operates on a screw mechanism so you don’t have to keep picking off screen and putting back on also can be very messy. The soloution worked very quickly in the rare sunny day in the UK and the cracks have disappeared however I am still left with a pin prick hole this is due to user error there was a air bubble in the chip due to the fact the chip was to far down the screen for me to see for air. Overall I am happy.

It really does work.
One of the best products I have bought for my car. I got a stone chip and tiny hairline crack after a 4x4 driver thought he was king of the road in the snow and went flying up the fast lane while throwing up all the rubbish off the road. I could my get an appointment with autogalss for approx 1 week so bought this so it didn't get worse. I must admit I was very sceptical of this product but thought it was worth a go. Well just say that I am more than impressed with the results and you can barely notice the chip now. If you follow the instructions exactly as they say then it will 100% work. I took a little longer to do it than the times in the instructions due to probably using a bit much resin and it is also 0 degrees outside so not took longer to cure which is no fault of the product. I still have plenty left over for further repairs so well worth the money. Would highly recommend it to anyone. After reading some of the reviews I would just like to add a couple of things as I think some people have set their expectations a bit high. My stone chip and crack is barely visible but yes it can be seen. This is not some miracle product that will give you a windscreen looking like new. If you want the chip completely gone from vision then I'm sorry but this will not give you that and only a new windscreen would fix this. I have seen others saying that there is not enough liquid. I can't say how others have been applying it but my chip was fairly large and even using more than the insructions say I was left with plenty to do more. The final complaint is that the adapter and plunger is flimsy. I'm a heavy handed sort of guy and I had no issues with this what so ever. Please remember this is a £10 fix as opposed to a new £500 windscreen so while it's not going to give you a new windscreen it does a dam good job for £10.

It pretty does what it says on the tin
It pretty does what it says on the tin. Has filled the hole with an almost perfect smooth finish. I would say it has made the hole disappear with 80% effectiveness, can still see where it was but nowhere near as bad. I have seen the results of professionally repaired chips and would rate some of those the same. Basically it has filled the hole and left a smooth surface, so i guess it wont affect the MOT and will stop the screen damage from getting any worse. For the money i think good value.

Very disappointed. Big no no...
Right so here my review. After waiting for so long for a nice sunny British weather I have finally managed to get it done. First of all I want to make it very clear that it doesn't work, I'm not sure how this has so many good reviews but it does not work. Since I bought it, I had to wait about 2 weeks for a good weather to get it done, until then I read the instructions about 10 times, along with YouTube videos. So by the time I went and done it I already knew the steps by heart. Nevertheless, on the day that I did it, I actually read the instructions again as I was doing it. According to YouTube videos, as soon as you apply the resin, it should fill the bullseye and the crack, I went inside the car to look from the inside and it didn't do anything. Anyway, I gave the benefit of the doubt and let it dry. Still nothing. Then I removed the device, applied the additional resin and covered it with the plastic film provided. At this point the car was in direct sun light to dry. It says to leave it for 10 minutes, I left it for 30 minutes. Removed the film, scraped the resin out and voila, nothing has changed, bullseye still there along with the crack. The total area that needed covering was less than a 1 pence coin. So this product is a big no no from me.

If I can do it anyone can! Updated 25/04/2020
Simple and easy to use! I'm not the best at diy, but thought for the wee chip I had in my windscreen I'd give this a go. And I was more than surprised. The small half moon shaped chip is practically invisible!! I'm so glad I decided to get this. Application is easy, instructions within the pack are detailed. Kit has everything you need. Obviously this is designed for small chips/cracks. Anything large/severe will most likely only be helped in looking better. The chip I was repairing was a small half moon shape, no cracks coming from it and I could feel a slight drop when I ran my fingernail across it. Sadly I do not have pictures of a before/after job. However I have had people ask if my windscreen was replaced as they were unable to identify where the chip was! My advice would be take your time on initial set up of the suction cup device. Making sure to look from both inside and outside of the car to ensure your placement is spot on. I lightly tapped the inside of the windscreen once resin was in to ensure the resin worked it way right into the chip and to help displace any airbubbles. As I live in Scotland and the sun wasn't playing ball I waited an hour after application with the wee plastic sheet covering the resin on my windscreen. Removed the sheet and carefully took off excess resin with the small blade provided. Looking from the inside of the windscreen it was easier to see the residual resin I had to remove. UPDATE!!!! 25/04/2020 Used my same kit again! Resin was still as good as the day I got it. Fixed 3 other areas of small chips in my windscreen. Took photos of the process for the largest one. Will add these in here, still 10/10 for this product!!

Didn't work as well as expected
I followed the instructions on this to try and get rid of a couple of stone chips that were on my windscreen. One chip was just in the surface layer of the glass, and this product made no difference to that chip. The other chip which was a bit deeper than just the top layer of the glass, the repair kit made that chip look a little bit better, but overall I think that I would have been better to take the car to be repaired at a well known chip repair company, rather than use this kit.

Brilliant product
I don't usually bother with reviews unless the product smashes your expectations out the park . . . this is so easy to use and I would say on a bullet style stone chip with fine cracks emulating from the centre it visually reduced noticeability to a point where you would struggle to find it unless you knew where the stone chip was. It removes the obvious 'white' area that reflects light where the damage is. The ease of application, price and results I can't fault - I can't recommend enough! I'm annoyed I didn't take a 'before' pic but loaded up one I found represents the damage I had - but the after is a shot I took (sorry it's blurry) at an angle to show the repair at its worst. Shows clearly what improvement can be made where the resin seeks out and fills the 'open' chip/cracks in the damaged glass removing the chance of light entering - it's the light reflecting in the damaged 'open' glass that makes a stone chip look so bad.

Love this product
I have fixed about 3 X windscreens with this tool kit. I have been able to remove 95-99% of stone chips which have been rather quite large. Used this product which was easy to use and satisfying to see the end results. It's a great feeling when avoiding a massive $$$ replacement bill for a new windscreen
