Good quality washing up bowl, atrocious packaging used by the seller.
The bowl itself is of good quality, and up to the Addis quality that I have known from owning previous Addis products. This bowl was to replace an identical one from Addis, which we had for quite a number of years. The plastic feels solid and not flimsy or thin. However, the seller Gettabox seriously needs to rethink their packaging. The packaging that the sender thought was appropriate to send this item out with is absolutely atrocious. The box was almost torn half open when I received it (see the picture I have attached to this review). There was no protective packaging whatsoever included in the box, and it was a miracle that the item was not damaged. This will be the last time I will purchase anything from this seller!

Strong, practical, and thoughtfully designed
I bought the Addis Rectangular Washing Up Bowl recently when we revamped our utility room, and it’s been absolutely spot on — a sturdy, practical piece of kit that does exactly what it’s supposed to without fuss. First of all, the size is excellent. It’s big enough to handle larger pots, baking trays, and family-sized washing-up loads without feeling cramped, but still fits neatly into standard sinks. The rectangular shape makes much better use of space than round bowls — you can stack plates, soak big trays flat, and even fit chopping boards without awkward balancing acts. The plastic material feels thick and durable, much more heavy-duty than some of the flimsy bowls you get in discount shops. I’ve been using it daily for several weeks now — often with hot water — and there’s been no warping, cracking, or discolouration. The integrated handle slots are a nice design touch. They make it easy to lift and empty even when full without straining your hands or risking a spill. The sides are slightly tapered too, so when you do need to empty it, it pours smoothly without sloshing everywhere. Cleaning the bowl itself is straightforward — it rinses clean easily and doesn't retain smells or stains, even after messy jobs like soaking baking trays or cleaning up after big Sunday roasts. The neutral grey colour I chose blends in well with the rest of the kitchenware — smart and unobtrusive. Addis also offer it in a few different shades if you prefer something a bit bolder. One small tip: if you want extra grip in the sink (especially if you’ve got a shiny ceramic one), you can pop a small rubber mat underneath — but honestly, I’ve found it stays put quite well even when full. Overall, this Addis bowl is exactly what I wanted: strong, practical, and easy to use. A basic kitchen essential done right. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a no-fuss, durable washing up solution.

Good washing up bowl.
A rectangular bowl, rather than a square one. It fits nicely in my sink. The shape encourages me to empty the bowl the right way and hence stop pouring water towards my sink overflow pipe. (I was fed up of having small leaks in my cupboard underneath. But I've also had a new tap fitted recently. )

Check the size you want
Check the size! I didn’t and it’s too small to take a large plate!
