Trevor Morris hat es geschafft und Melodien komponiert, die nicht nur wie die Faust aufs Auge zu der Serie "The Tudors" passen, sondern auch bewegen und fesseln und absoluten Ohrwurmcharakter haben. Mit dem großartigen Soundtrack zur ersten Staffel gibt Morris quasi sein "Debut" und bringt gleichzeitig schon solche absolut wunderschöne und fantastische Stücke wie "An Historic Love" und "Behold The Great King Of England". Die relativ kurzen Tracks sind dabei ganz nach meinem Geschmack. Da kann ich nämlich gleich zielgerecht zu dem Stück schalten, das ich hören möchte. Ein absolut toller Soundtrack, den ich mir immer wieder gerne anhöre!

Trevor is a genius at this time period of music. He knows just how to capture the mood and bring you into it with his mastery. Every time I listen to it, it brings me back to an episode from the series and makes me want to watch the entire series all over again. Now that I own this disc, I plan on buying the music from every DVD in the series. One disc just isn't enough! I recommend this with the highest of ratings.

This was an exceptional series. If you love the Tudor period, you will love this series. Acting, scenery, costumes were all wonderful. It came well packaged and very quickly. Very pleased with this purchase.

Normally I won't buy a soundtrack without being able to hear a little of it before hand. After becoming obsessed with the show I decided to take a chance on the soundtrack. Let me tell you it FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. This is a very strong soundtrack and really kept my interest from the first track all the way till the end. I have tons of soundtracks to historical shows and movies and this one has become my favorite of them all. A definite must!!

schon als ich im Fernsehen die beiden Staffeln sah, liebäugelte ich mit der Filmmusik. Einige Stücke, die im Film untergingen aufgrund der spannenden Handlung, konnte ich erst jetzt richtig bewusst hören. Ich war doch überrascht, wieviel leise und schöne Töne es gibt, aber auch mitreißende Klänge kommen nicht zu kurz. Den Komponisten sollte man sich merken, wenn er ähnliches noch "auf Lager" hat, dann kann noch einige gute Musik auf uns zukommen.
