Excellent wheelchair
Completely new to wheelchairs but delighted with this one for the price and quality. Arrived in a sturdy box, all I had to do was clip on the footrests and it was good to go. Very comfortable (I happily used it as an extra chair in my mum’s care home room) and very manoeuvrable. Fits into a VW Polo boot and it’s quite easy to lift in / out as not too heavy. Delighted with this for the price and lovely to have a choice of colour too. No one actually ‘wants’ a wheelchair but this one doesn’t make it feel so bad!

Great Wheelchair, easy to manoeuvre and steer.
Excellent product. Light easy to steer and manoeuvre. Good brakes. Very well designed. I think it’s ideal for short term disability. Folds easy for transport. We bought the standard size, which accommodates a size 10/12 woman. The small would be for children I think. The large might cope with some of our larger woman, but I don’t think these wheelchairs could cope with the typical Merry Hill fatty! I would definitely recommend. It’s excellent value.

Dimensions vs. what you currently use
This wheelchair was bought as the one we have is too heavy to keep getting in and out of the car (NHS one, sturdy) and we needed a lighter one. The user is quite small, and luckily we had the opportunity to try the standard size first. A good value wheelchair, very light, and easy getting in and out of the car, but she felt the standard size was too tight/restrictive for her. Upon measuring our old NHS wheelchair the wide wheelchair (rather than standard) was a little wider than the NHS one, but it was a comfortable fit (we push mum's coat and oxgyen tubes down either side of her). A great wheelchair, fairly sturdy, and just opened it up from the box, other than putting the footplates on, it was good to go. Mum loves it, got to choose her favourite colour, and it saves my back. We just use it at the weekend for shopping trips, so not for long periods of time. We also use a padded cushion, and I had to buy a clip on bag for the back. I would recommend this, but do measure the sizes first.

Worth the money
Excellent build quality. Used to take mother too hospital appointments etc. Very easy to push and steer, with lever positions at the back for your feet, to help rise the front wheels over small bumps and cerbs etc. NOT suitable for very large people well over 100KG. I fit in it snugly at 103KG (wide shoulders) but much bigger than that and I would be having trouble. The feet supports clip on/off very easily and swing out of the way to get someone sitting in the chair more easily. It has thin padding on the seat, so a thin cushion may be needed for some, otherwise it is comfy enough for casual use of limited time, say about 1 hour or so. Everyone is different so try this out for yourself. The brakes work well and are easily adjusted, with no spanner needed to put the chair together on arrival. A spanner is provided with the instructions, but it is an universal one and you would be better off with a cheap set of real spanners I think. The chair also folds up easily for putting in a car boot, but take the foot supports off first, as it is very difficult to put it in the car with the supports fitted. The boot of a 2005 Ford Focus is big enough to take the chair easily (without front supports fitted) but an earlier version of this car may have problems closing the boot lid, as the early versions had a boot several inches shorter than the 2005 model. Overall this chair is of high build quality, with the red version being about £30 more than the blue or chrome version for some reason. It does look nice though if you like dark red. I highly recommend this chair for people who fit in it, and for keeping in a car and using INSTEAD of those horrible hospital chairs, which go where THEY want to go, not where YOU want to go. You also don't need to hunt for a chair on arrival anywhere, if you carry your own in the car.

well made and study
bought for my mother who has just gone into a care home. this came next day. so easy to assemble - only the foot plates need clipping on. otherwise it is truly good to go. she is a larger lady and this is comfortable. easy for push (carer) and folds down easily into car. really impressed and the colour range was appreciated to differentiate between banks of wheelchairs.

Sturdy, Comfortable and Simple to Transport
The chair is well‑built and surprisingly light, making it easy to transport in and out of a car. The padded seat offers good comfort and the footrests adjust smoothly. It pushes well and feels stable, even on uneven paths. A solid choice for anyone needing a dependable attendant‑propelled wheelchair for regular outings.

Great purchase.
Compact and easy to fold up to put in the car or travel with. Needed a light-weight wheelchair urgently a few months back after my husband injured himself. I was able to get this from the house, into a taxi and to the hospital with ease. Fast and efficient delivery. No real setup necessary, just unfold and click in to place. Due to its compact design with no sticky-outy wheels this wheelchair was ideal for getting in and out of smaller spaces like disabled toilets in elevators. It just means that this wheelchair requires someone to push the "patient" rather than they wheel themselves about. Very good value for money. Feels sturdy enough for travel (even though we only used it for a short period of time while hubby recovered from injuries). I had no issues pushing him around. Brake locks are secure and he was able to push himself out of the seat without it ever moving backwards. It was a snug fit tho ... if hubby was any chunkier I think he would have struggled to fit.

Brakes lock on if one pushes down the brake handles.
Good price light and compact chair and contrary to other review does have brake lock on feature- just push brake handles downwards.
