this kit is amazing not overly impressed with the skimmer part but I have to say the vacuum works well. I mostly had silver birch confetti form the next door neighbour's tree I used my sand filter on re-circulation adding more power and wow it did not disappoint it sucked the lot up packing it all in a little net bag very impressive. If its mostly sand or dirt particles I used the sand filter on play mode and again it sucked the lot up leaving a very clear pool and as for the net the water flows past it very well leaving all the leaves in the net I highly rate this product and would definitely buy again.

It would have been better if the information stated "Requires 800 Gallon Per Hour pump/ filter" .Reasonable kit but in all honesty the skimmer is absolutely huge and on my paltry 330 GPH pump it does nothing :) I may fill half the skimmer with pebbles in the hope the reduction in volume of water may help the skimming. Other than that, it looks like I need an 800 GPH pump / filter :) Got hold of a 800 gph pump and what a difference . Works perfectly and it is quite sadistically satisfying watching flies being dragged to their death :)

The vacuum and skimmer work in conjunction with the pool pump and are effective in getting rid of fine particles from the pool. The trick to success with the vacuum is to ensure that the tube is full of water and air bubbles expelled before plugging into the pump inlet. After that, slow sweeps across the pool bottom will pick up most of the light material that is too fine to pick up using the net. The skimmer picks up a lot of stuff but it is still necessary to use the net to do a thorough job. My only reservation is that the kit is a bit pricey, although it is also good quality.

Tried an electric (battery operated) bestway pool vacuum along with this pool set and this is far better. This one is a lot more work as the supplied hose has to be filled with water in the pool before connecting to the filter pump. It does suck up the dirt, but has to be done daily, if there is a build up of dirt after pool not been used for a few days due to bad weather, this does struggle. It is good at collecting dirt in the main part of the pool, but useless at collecting dirt around the edges. The filter gets clogged up and it loses suction. Have to be really careful when lifting vacuum out of water, if you accidentally twist pole the collector at the bottom twists off and releases all the dirt back in to the pool. The filter pump also has to be switched off, disconnected and cleaned as soon as you finish cleaning the pool, otherwise it will release dirt back into the pool. I used this with a 530 gallon per hour pump, and I could not find a better vacuum without having to buy another more powerful filter pump. The net that comes with this is great and the pole is interchangeable with the net and pool vacuum. The pole did lose it’s ability to stay extended and would shorten itself during use. I was a bit disappointed with the pool skimmer, it does collect some surface dirt, but it is slow and when you unplug it, it releases most of it’s collection back into the pool. Using the net was far more efficient. Could not find a better alternative to this set.

this set is fantastic, if you have pool with a pump in your garden this is a must along with the pool starter kit which has the chemical additives and guidance on keeping your pool clean. You must submerge the hose fully to get rid of any air bubbles before attaching the head end and hose to the pump or it will not work.

Not a very good buy ! Net not fitting to pole on both sides! Hoover part not working with my pump. If I use just the pipe to hoover take forever to get the air out unless I get in the pool and stand on it. I was hoping this was going to make my life easier I was wrong. I have a 10 ft pool and have gone back to cleaning with Standard hose pipe as this works with my pump that came with the pool.

Verpackung & Lieferung OK. Die Anleitung hat kleine Bilder, diese sind aber sehr gut und hat keine Übersetzungsfehler. Der Zusammenbau ist genau abgebildet. Es ist auch klar ersichtlich welche Anschlüsse für welchen Pool (Schraubverbindungenoder Steckverbindungen) zu verwenden sind. Tipp: Alles zusammenbauen und erst am Schluss die Verbindungen aufstecken, dann erklärt sich alles von selbst. Der Skimmer hat einen 38mm, die Sauger einen 32m Schlauch. Man muss jedes Mal umstecken wechselt man zwischen Skimmer und Sauger. Das ist für mich persönlich in der Preisklasse für Pool und Reinigungsset verständlich. Auch bei gleichem Durchmesser müsste man umstecken, die Schlauchlängen sind stark unterschiedlich, ca. 1m für den Skimmer und ca. 7m für den Sauger. Unsere Sandfilterpumpe hat einen Durchsatz von 4000l/h und leider keinen Vorfilter. Die Pumpe haben wir 1 Jahr vor dem Reinigungsset gekauft, nun würde ich eine Pumpe mit 6000l/h mit Vorfilter kaufen. Die 4m³/h reichen aus, mehr ist sicher besser. Der Skimmer funktioniert 1A. Wir haben an der Oberfläche keinen Schmutz mehr. Kleine Fremdkörper saugt die Pumpe früher oder später ein, der Filterkorb ist für kleine Insekten etc. zu grobmaschig. Ich bin schon gespannt ob der Filtersand trotz regelmäßigem Rückspülen durchlässig bleibt oder „verklebt“. Mit dem Sauger muss man langsam arbeiten. Man darf die Schmutzpartikel am Boden nicht aufwirbeln sondern muss den Sauger langsam bewegen. Das zusätzliche Filtersieb ist ein guter Indikator für den Erfolg. Wichtig: Den Schlauch vorher mit Wasser füllen, zumindest muss ich das tun sonst saugt die Pumpe einfach kein Wasser an. Man kann damit natürlich auch den Boden schrubben, aber beim schrubben werden zu viele kleine Partikel aufgewirbelt. Schrubben und Saugen sind 2 Arbeitsvorgänge. Tipp: den 32mm Schlauch für den Sauger extra dazu bestellen bei schwachen Pumpen. Den mitgelieferten Schlauch kann man leider nur einmal in der Mitte kürzen, nicht alle Meter wie es sonst üblich ist. Da ich einen 32mm Schlauch für das Rückspülen gekauft habe, verwende ich diesen und habe ihn auf 6m gekürzt. Davon verspreche ich mir weniger Reibungswiederstand im Schlauch und eine besser Saugleistung. Ich würde das Set jederzeit wieder kaufen.

This order surprised me, as I thaught i was just buying the floor cleaner, with the net skim and some attachments. It was a pleasant surprise to find a great working Skimmer in the package as well. **The seller need to put bigger picture of the skimmer in their sale pictures, so people actually can find how great value this package is. I found the money very well spent on this pack, as tge quality of products is TOP notch. Thanks!

I bought this kit for the stupid plastic nozzle that attaches to the intake so I can properly vaccum my pool. It should have came with the darn pool. That being said, I also figured I could use the rest of it I'm sure. The skimmer basket is fantastic! So for those peices alone it was worth the money. The suction has everything to do with the pump you have. We started using it with the pump that came with the pool and after fighting a battle with Algae decided to get the 2200gpm pump and filter for our 18' Coleman vista pool. Now all is right with the pool and not having anymore issues with anything. It's easier to vaccum as it has better suction, I dont have to try and find overpriced filter cartridges anymore, and the pool stays 99% cleaner. Update: After using it all season, the parts I bought it for are still fantastic, but I will say I had to keep patching the hose with duct tape just to get through the season. the hose is way too thin, and if drug even lightly over rocks or anything like that, it causes holes easily. Can you guess what I'm investing in next year??? Over all I'm glad I bought the kit, I know that separately sell the parts, but at the time I was purchasing, the kit was cheaper than the 2 things I used.
