![Disney's The Lion King [DVD]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/410ZUhoaX7L.jpg)

Disney animated feature following a naive and curious lion cub as he struggles to find his place in nature's great 'circle of life'. Simba (voice of Jonathan Taylor Thomas/Matthew Broderick) is excited about being king of the pride but is forced into exile by his evil and greedy uncle, Scar (Jeremy Irons), who wants to claim the throne for himself. Away from his family, Simba meets a meerkat named Timon (Nathan Lane) and a warthog named Pumbaa (Ernie Sabella). With the help of his new friends he overcomes great fear and adversity to defeat Scar and take his rightful place as ruler of the Pride Lands. Review: The original and best! - I was motivated to buy the Lion King having recently returned from a safari in Tanzania, wanting to see again the wonderful representations of Africa inspired by the Serengeti. I hadn’t realised prior to going that Disney cleverly used many Swahili words in the film: simba means lion, pumbaa is a warthog and hakuna matata really does mean ‘no worries’ and we heard it a lot! Rafiki means friend. My husband and I really enjoyed watching the film again with fresh eyes after so many years! Review: Excellent quality - Good quality

Love the film! Dissapointed with the packaging
This is my favourite disney film and I couldn’t resist buying the DVD to add to my collection of Disney classics! I was a bit dissappointed when it didn’t turn up in the gold case as shown in the photo like my other ones did and I now can’t add it to my shelf however it is still a brilliant film and I love it!

Not returning this damaged DVD, because it cost $17 to do so...trashing this DVD and I will never buy a product again that does not have a no cost return policy.
