Is this the USB 2.0 version of the product?

Hi Alan. I think this has a USB 1.1 interface not 2.0. I realised this after I bought it so plan to sell my one on! :)

Will usb outlet connect and play into an ipad (with lightning adapter)

Hi, Alesis support here! Yes, MultiMix 8 USB FX can send its main output to your iPad using Apple's Lightning > USB 3 Camera Connection Kit (sold separately).

Can you use as an amp?

No - a mixer is a pre-amp and needs a power amp to give an acceptable speaker level output.

Can i send aux via the Usb. I am looking at possible voice tracking remotely so will need to get music and mic into the desk and the mic going back?

Hi, Alesis support here! Whilst our MultiMix 8 USB FX features the ability to send the master output to your computer via USB connectivity; this will not apply to any of the aux channels. We'd love to provide further support on this subject, please feel free to contact us directly - amzsupport@inmusicbrands.com
