I had thrush, and hate taking the tablets too many side effects, hate the pessary aswell as it burns me, tryed this didn't really expect it to work, it's really soothing and took away all my horrible symptoms associated with thrush without any nasty side effects, would buy again my only complaint is why do these things always have to be so expensive, I really think they could make the price more reasonable, after all no one is buying it for vanity reasons, it's a need to relief a painful condition, definitely could be cheaper but a good product

After fluconazole and clotrimazole failed to clear up a bad case of thrush following a course of antibiotics, I stumbled upon this page on Amazon in desperation for a cure. This product arrived within two days and dramatically reduced my symptoms - I had been in discomfort all day and unable to sleep properly, so I was thrilled! I used for consecutive nights and it worked wonders. As other reviewers mentioned, it does sting upon application but for me this was tolerable and well worth the benefits. I've already placed another order to keep a store in the house!

This is great for preventing thrush, I use it when feeling run down or at the slightest sign of discomfort and it keeps me happy and healthy. If you do have thrush already I would recommend treatment by oral tablet or pessary and seeking the doctors advice if it keeps coming back, the doctor told me to take both the oral tablet and the pessary and revise my diet, cutting out excess sugar particularly and eating more healthily, you also need to make sure your partner takes medication and avoid sex until sorted. I did this and haven't had a single problem in years now using just the flora plus for prevention.

Good value just what I expected good value

I used this instead of Biocare pessaries (which have worked for me in the past but were not available, only the cream) and was really hopeful as thought there was some improvement after the first night, but despite consistent use and completing the 5 day course, it failed to control symptoms fully between doses and didn't work to cure the infection. I've given a rating of 3 stars overall, as this could be more helpful as a moisturising, refreshing/natural cleansing product. The twist off cap and design is easy to use and the gel is smooth, clear and odourless. There is a slight warming sensation after application, but despite treating a candida infection, had no stinging (mentioned in other reviews). The product insert says to do a patch test on the inner arm prior to use, which I would recommend. Worth saying I also don't respond well to standard pharmacy pessaries or tablets and hate those products for various reasons. Even though it didn't work for me as a treatment, I'm happy to have given this a try. I would like additional natural but proven ingredients to be added such as essential oil of geranium and garlic and would be prepared to give it another try. It may work for you as a treatment or prevention, especially if you don't have hormonal imbalance, or haven't had recurrent or persistent infections in the past.

My main reason for buying this product was because for many, many years i have suffered from constant thrush and vaginal soreness. I was fed up of spending large amounts of money on products that didn't work. due to a bit of luck i came across this product and it works brilliantly. the instructions say to use one tube a night for 5 days then after that just one tube around every 3 days. i feel so much better now in myself. i would highly recommend.

1. used in last trimester as topical canesten cream worked briefly then I would have a recurrence. 2. Normal vaginal pH is acidic. If you have thrush, the inside lining maybe inflamed and sore. Applying an acidic gel aimed at restoring the pH is likely to sting on inflamed skin. Burned day 1, day 3 brief sting, day 5 nothing. 3. Not 100% sure whether this is better for prevention rather than cure but stinging, burning, itching settled (5 applications for 5 days) 4. Expensive in the long term if using every three days for prevention.

This stuff is magic! I will say that it does burn a little, but only when you have an infection that it's trying to kill. I suffer from consistent thrush and I use this every other day to ensure I am healthy. It comes with 5 applications, just be sure to squeeze it all out so you get the full dose.
