Lodge Classic Silicone Hot Handle Holder, Red

Used this a few months before writing a review and it meets the standard. I was always burning my hands and decided it was time to sort it out. Good quality and easy to slot on. Good size and grip. This is even easier to clean, what are you waiting for?

I bought this to go with my iron griddle pan. It’s a must! It fits really well, is nice and thick so it makes the pan comfy to hold. There’s not a hint of heat coming through. Now I have this I wouldn’t use any of my cast iron frying pans without it. Your hands are too valuable to make that inevitable mistake of picking up a very hot pan and suffering the consequence.

I ordered it this handle for my iron pan, which I kept grabbing with bare hand when hot. So it was really a necessity. The handle of my pan is really small and thin and when this handle arrived I was surprised with its size. I actually doubted it will stay on becouse there is such a disproportion in parameters. I was proven wrong. Firstly it took some effort to put it on the handle, which made me think it is quite unlikely it will slide off. Secondly the thermoisulation is perfect! Thirdly it doesn't change shape not burns with heat. I actually left it for good few weeks before posting this review to make sure it is working (or not). I am very happy with this purchase but I would be happier if the price would be lower - i suspect it's made in China so it doesn't cost that much to make. The price costed one star. Otherwise good product.

Very good fit on the handle & doesn’t slip off. I chose the red for my cast iron griddle to remind me it’s hot. A simple item but worth it to avoid a really nasty accident.

Not that great. On a seasoned pan it makes the handle slip off quite easily even when carrying it horizontally due to it not fitting snug. When you grip it it causes the pan handle to squeeze out of the cover. It could be very dangerous, especially if hot. You could drop a scorching hot and heavy cast iron pan on your foot. For £7.99 you'd expect better. I imagine the cloth ones are much better. The only way I can get it to work is by wrapping kitchen paper around the handle for some grip before slipping this on top.

Don’t get this one for the eight inch dolly pan like I did….its not a proper fit….make sure you look for the pan size it should fit…..great quality all the same

I don't usually write reviews, but this product was so dreadful I thought it unfair on other potential customers not to warn them of how utterly useless this product is. It doesn't fit the handle - it's too big and flaps off the end of my Lodge 20" skillet (which incidentally is a great product I would highly recommend). What is worse is that it doesn't do it's job and it gets hot if used for any length of time. It is simply not worth buying as you'd be better off with an oven glove or even a tea towel. Very disappointed.

Sie passt perfekt an den Griff. Sie scheint wertig gearbeitet worden zu sein und kann einfach in die Spülmaschine gelegt werden. Gutes Produkt.

Very good product. I use it for my LODGE combo cooker (2 pans) and it works great. The adjustment it is good. When cooking the top and bottom keeps only a bit warm (you can hold it with bare hands), from the sides might be a bit warmer. Great!
