Great product for helping kids learn to use scissors
I bought these to help my 3 year old learn to use scissors. With the spring loaded lever, it really does make a massive difference with ease of use for little tots. The little one has now moved on to cutting circles and she is really quite proud of herself! Great product for helping kids learn to art and craft.

Recommending to everyone and their dog
We got these for our 4YO son who was getting frustrated to tears after about 5 minutes of trying as he was understanding how to use scissors, but never quite managing to open them after cutting without his fingers slipping too far through the holes. Well he did 4 hours in a row(!)of cutting with these on the day they arrived because he loved them so much. He tells me he only stopped because his skin was getting sore!!! He keeps wanting to do crafty stuff now so I think it's safe to say he likes them! The best points are that you can adjust the amount of spring easily. Others might like to know that they are pretty sharp scissors (no mucking about here) but that does mean they cut well and that's just what we wanted. The finger holes are nice and small and one has a little rubbery bit to help keep fingers in place. He can now use them with no spring already so they have obviously helped :-) Very happy customers!

Good product
Good product as it does make it easier for my just 3yr old to cut. However they did seem a little stiffer than the pair of spring scissors we have used at pre school and the catch didn't seem as secure. Maybe they will loosen with time and use. Still worth the money. Would recommend.

My four year old has a genetic condition that means he has very hyper mobile joints in his hands and some muscle weakness and so he struggles to use normal scissors. However, with these scissors he finds cutting much easier and has grown in confidence and ability!

Great for little hands
I purchased these for my 3 year old son. They are great for little hands and cut really well. My only problem is that they cut a little too well for a 3 year old! I think I should have started with a plastic pair, but I know scissors that don't actually cut more than tissue paper can be really frustrating for the child so I opted for these. Although they are advertised as being suitable from 3, I'd suggest from 5 would be a better age. Needless to say my son LOVES them, but my pulse races when he is using these scissors :0)

Great for toddlers
My 3 year old is able to use these in a very controlled way. He is always the kid who hurts himself every chance he gets but he’s able to use these quite safely.

I bought these for my 2 year old and he figured out how to use them on the first try. Cut that paper to shreds! I opted for a scissors that would cut well (at the expense of safety sheathing over the blades) as I knew he would be frustrated by one that didn't work and that he wouldn't be using them unsupervised. I also hope that he'll be inclined to use them longer as they won't seem like "baby scissors" for a grade schooler. Pros: - Sharp cutting edge - Visually appealing (my toddler pointed out all the colors) - Easy to use - Spring-assist can be easily disengaged Cons: - Right-handed only As with any scissors, toddlers will need supervision - they do cut and cut well. I had to remind my son not to walk with the scissors in his hand, not to touch the silver part, and not to put it by his face. But he loved them to the point that I had to hide them so he doesn't get them out on his own.
