I sand / spray paint 3d printed models and had been using a much cheaper face mask that was given to me by my work - they sell things to the NHS etc for doctors/nurses to wear. Great for that but less so for spray paint fumes... I do not regret buying this in the slightest. - I can breath normally and not get out of breath. The dual filters get enough air in with normal breathing that you don't feel short of breath at all. - I can happily spray paint something and detect no fumes. - The fit is perfect, the head brace/back of the neck clip hold the mask in place very securely. I can look around as fast as I want and the mask just stays stuck to my face. - It's never going to be amazingly comfy to wear given it's role but I can happily wear this for a good 15 mins and have no marks on my face nor do I feel like I HAVE to take it off. Nothing digs in or feels out of place (beyond having something attached to your face...!) I could easily wear it for a lot longer with no complaints.

As a professional decorator of 30 years I’ve just gotten into spraying with a hvlp gun. I used my regular mask and could smell vapour and ended up with a headache after a days work so I did some research and ordered the M3 painting mask. I have now used this for four days running and it brilliant, light and comfortable and no vapour smells also my glasses don’t steam up. It’s a bit expensive but it does the job, if you’re spraying you need this

I used it to spray 4 cans of paint brilliant, no ill effects and couldn't even smell paint till I removed it. Good fit even with a short beard.

Bought to use when using some solvent based paint to respray a bike. Really easy to set up and comfortable to use. No nasty smells got through, so much so that I was wondering if the paint was really that bad…until I took of the mask and got a whiff of the paint solvents hanging around (this was outside too!) Don’t skimp or bodge stuff, if you need a mask for spraying get one like this and save your lungs!

I use this for waxing wood and it’s very good, can’t smell anything through it

Really nice respirator and at a decent price, use it for sanding, stripping and spraying and have had no issues. The best thing is it makes you sound like Darth Vader when you talk.

Esta mascarilla de 3M rebosa calidad y confianza, es bastante cómoda y se nota que protege y es muy efectiva, la he usado para fumigar y también para pintar con clorocaucho (el que lo conozca sabrá que es la pintura más fuerte que hay, olerlo sin máscara es auténtico veneno), además de usarlo con un insecticida industrial en el garaje, y en ninguna situación he notado ni he olido nada, no me ha dado la sensación de tragar ni una sola partícula. Antes había usado máscaras "parecidas" pero de un solo filtro y de precio rondando los 12-15 euros. Con esas, aguantaba el insecticida durante un rato, pero luego penetraba y me ahogaba, y lo del clorocaucho era simplemente imposible. Con esta mascarilla ni te enteras. Parece magia. Además es bastante cómoda, la puedes llevar durante horas, no dificulta la respiración ni te aprieta, aunque luego al quitártela si te deja marca en la cara, porque cierra muy bien, pero cuando la llevas puesta no se nota. A ratos te olvidas que la llevas puesta. Totalmente recomendada, imprescindible para profesionales y muy útil para aficionados al bricolaje y chapucillas en general. Viene con 2 filtros, pero recomiendo comprar los filtros de repuesto también para garantizar la fiabilidad y cambiarlos cuando corresponda.

Top Maske, Qualität wie von 3M gewohnt! Ich musste ohne Absaugung lackieren und hat bestens Funktioniert! Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Die Maske wurde von 2 Personen getestet und von beiden als bestens bewertet!! Super Verstellmöglichkeiten an den Riemen für Ober-und Hinterkopf, sodass sie für alle Kopfformen und -größen passt. Durch die Dichtung vorne passt die Maske sich auch super dem Gesicht an, sodass diese wirklich dicht abschließt.

Ottima maschera, non capisco le recensioni negative, dentro sembra di respirare aria di montagna, facile montaggio, estremamente confortevole, materiali elastici e piacevoli! Chi più spende meno spende, mai proverbio fu più azzeccato! La uso per il modellismo, perfetta!

Ich bin begeistert von der Maske, vor allem im Vergleich zu den billigen 1mal Masken die ich bisher benutzt habe. Man kann so leicht atmen, eigentlich kein Unterschied ob man die Maske auf hat oder nicht. Die Maske lässt sich bequem tragen und auch leicht an die eigene Kopfgröße durch die Gummibänder anpassen. Auch erfreulich war, die Maske ist auf Anhieb dicht, ohne Fummelei. Da ich Brillenträger bin war ich mir nicht sicher, ob das eventuell Probleme geben könnte, aber die Befürchtung war falsch. Die Maske kann problemlos mit Brille zusammen getragen werden. Ich habe sie gleich ausprobiert und mit einer Spraydose etwas lackiert. Der A2P2 Filter funktioniert super, man merkt keinerlei unangenehmen Geruch. Als ich die Maske nach erledigter Arbeit abgelegt habe, habe ich erst gemerkt wie sehr die Luft nach der Farbe aus der Dose stinkt. Da ich meistens nur Holz schleife, benötige ich den A2 Filter eher selten. Darum habe ich mir gleich zur Maske noch die 3M Partikelfilter 2125 P2R gegen feste und flüssige Partikel mit bestellt und werde die hauptsächlich verwenden. Den A2P2 Filter kommt dann nur zum Lackieren zum Einsatz und wird nicht unnötig zugesetzt. Durch den praktischen Bajonetverschluss kann man ganz leicht immer den benötigten richtigen Filter an der Maske haben. Einziges negatives: wie auch schon in einer anderen Rezession mit einem Foto gezeigt, ist das Plastik an den Stellen wo die Gummibänder an der Maske befestigt werden eher dünn und hat bei mir von Anfang an weiße Stellen gehabt, die auf eine Beanspruchung des Plastik deuten. Das macht erstmal keinen guten Eindruck, aber solange die Maske dennoch lange hält, ziehe ich erstmal keine Sterne ab. Falls es hier später zu Problemen kommt, werde ich die Bewertung anpassen.
