Really pleased
Hi. Old house plastered walls and most walls are ok but some have blown patches. Rather than replaster these walls I cut the loose stuff back to sound plaster and filled the patches with this plaster repair mix. Iโm not a plasterer and was getting ridiculous quotes for the work so I opted for the diy approach and Iโm glad I did. The patches varied from 12โ dia to one that was 27x13โ and the more Iayers of old wallpaper I stripped the more holes I found. Anyway, I cleaned each one and applied this stuff with a biggish flexible filling knife then levelled with a clean piece of 2x2โ timber then after the repair showed signs of drying i wetted the 2x2 and ran it over each patch until reasonably smooth. Some patches were papered over but some including the one above were to be painted and these were carefully sanded. I can honestly defy anyone to tell me where these repairs are. The finish is first class and Iโm delighted. Incidentally, I also made repairs lower down these walls at skirting level which involved deeper filling (more than 1/2โ deep) these took days to dry properly. I shouldโve done it in stages but itโs done now and looking good all round. A truly cost effective way to get the job done and just a word of caution. Polycell recommend you stir the plaster. You can do the whole batch in its tub or put what you need in a different container and stir it there. Either way do it, youโll get a smoother plaster and a better repair. Hope this helps.

Perfect powder filler mix for patching things up across the home!
Absolutely wonderful stuff. Have been renovating my friends office and there's been so many dings and holes in spaces that needed to be done up. And this powder is absolutely wonderful to mix up what you need at a time and to fill said holes. A dream to sand down and paint over. Fully recommend this for any DIY jobs that involve filling small or medium holes... 2 parts of the powder mixed with 1 part water and it mixes up to a nice creamy like state, great to get on to small nooks and crannys. I bought one box and it sorted out a hole in 2 doors, imperfections on the walls and edging a of a small office, as well as patching up a few holes across the living room and another room, but I do with I had bought 2 boxes at the time as I've noticed soany more areas in the house that could do with making good. I've not filled anything bigger than 4x4x0.5" but I presume if done in layers, it would be good for most things! The socket in the uploaded photo had to be filled quite a lot, the person who fitted the electrics was not handy with making the surrounding area good and looked absolutely shoddy, after a good go with the pollyfilla, it's looking absolutely wonderful, clean finish and now almost ready for the coats of paint. For the price it's such good value and buying an extra box for future 'just in cases' is a good idea. About to buy a couple boxes now to keep on the DIY journey!

Easy To Use And Gives A Clean Finish
I used this to fill small cracks and gaps around skirting boards and door frames and it worked brilliantly and seals them up well. Itโs very easy to apply, smooths out nicely and dries quite quickly without shrinking or cracking. The nozzle makes it easy to control the flow, so it goes exactly where you need it. When itโs dried up, it can be painted over with no trouble at all and the finish looks neat and professional. It does exactly what itโs meant to and saves a lot of time compared to traditional filler. A really handy product to have around the house. Would highly recommend!

Easy to use with professional results
Iโve used several fillers over the years, but this powder version really stands out. It mixes smoothly and is very easy to apply, even for someone who isnโt a professional. The drying time is quick, which makes it perfect when you want to get a job finished without waiting around. Once dry, the finish is impressively smooth and it sands down effortlessly, leaving a professional-looking result with minimal effort. The filling capacity is excellent too โ it handles both small cracks and deeper gaps with no problem, and the overall quality of the filler feels reliable and durable. If youโre after a product thatโs simple to use, dries fast, and gives a great finish, this is an excellent choice.

Excellent product unfortunately no longer available in powder form in Canada. Easier to use small quanities as the powder version keeps much longer than the premixed. Ships from the UK but arrived within 2 weeks.

Works to repair cracks in paint
I have peeling paint on some ceilings and walls. It isnโt water damage, just age I guess. I made a paste of this product, used a water color brush to carefully dampen the area under the peeling paint and then smoothed more of the paste above and around the area until the paint was kinda glued back in place. My walks are gently textured making it unnecessary to do much sanding to even the surface after it has dried. I learned of this product watching a YouTube video about repairing peeling paint. Fantastic
