Woodside Solar Oxygenator Air Pump for Pond - 1.5W Aerator 1 Air Stone Oxygen Pump for Garden, Aquarium Fish Tank

18 months or so in our small newt pond and this little pump has really impressed. Once installed, it just gets on with it. On cloudy days it produces a fairly strong stream of circulation bubbles that I was actually expecting to see on sunny days. On sunny days and in direct sunlight, it produces a most impressive stream that really gets the water circulating up from the bottom. The solar panel seems to be of good quality and has not discoloured or turned milky as many do left outdoors. As another reviewer mentioned, I have set it up in an upturned sealed food container with small ventilation holes drilled in the lid to allow a good supply of air to the pump, but no moisture to get to it. This is then protected from daylight in a small enclosure to keep the temperature inside the container under control. The flow of air through the container ensures that temp inside and out remain in balance and no condensation ever forms inside. Just a little thought, small amount of effort, and inexpensive materials ensure a relible pump for years to come. When the pump eventually fails, would I buy another? Absolutely.

I installed this solar-powered aerator in my garden pond a week ago and, so far, I am very pleased with its performance. It was easy to set up, makes no noise, and produces a lot of air bubbles in good sunlight. The pond water is already clearer and my fish seem happy!

Seems to work only when the sun shines, not in dull daylight. The solar panel is slightly raised in the corner so may not last long. Have read that the pump could be put in a plastic box to keep rain off, so put a flower pot over it. The airstone though does the job so am satisfied with this product.

Ordered for a small garden pond. The solar Oxygenator air pump came well packaged and arrived promptly from time of ordering. The Oxygenator air pump works very well and runs quiet, plenty of bubbles for oxygen for our little fish 🐟 👍. The Oxygenator air pump only works in daylight, reducing pumping speed when cloudy but as to be expected due to no internal recharging battery system, but certainly works well for our needs. Cable length is more than adequate so is the supplied oxygen tube. 👍

This little air pump is Brilliant for My barrel pond it works even on dull days but not so much air comes through but it still works well. It’s easy to disguise the tube amongst the plants. Definitely recommend this pair pump for small ponds if you don’t want a fountain.

Working well even in the dark , to early to do a full review as it is only the second day of use. Easy to set up , works immediately oxygenating the pool . My pond is Severn feet deep & I have discovered the tubes are so light they float on the surface with the Air ball hanging below them , the only solution is to attach a weight near the ball so it gets deeper into the pond . Other than that I’m happy at the moment, see what happens in the coming weeks . Mr Fix it

So easy to put together, just beware the pump needs to be housed in a waterproof area - I modified an old takeaway plastic box. In full sun this is a pretty powerful gadget, I ended up buying another two days later because I didn't think one was sufficient for my water garden which is in a trough approximately 3 metres x 1.2 metres and holds around 100 litres of water, I bought it/them to try and keep control of string algae which was getting to be a nuisance and I have to say that used in conjunction with a small bale of barley straw, the algae does seem to be getting weaker. The water somehow smelt immediately fresher when I started using these, not that it was bad before but you can see an improvement in water quality, it's very clear. I'm also quite fascinated by the bubbles on the water surface, they're very soothing to watch. On a very sunny day with no cloud they really do work very hard indeed, obviously with being solar powered the more cloud, the less bubbles but mine do work on days that are overcast with "white" clouds just not as hard. On very dull days they do struggle but this is to be expected!

I bought this as a replacement for an identical kit purchased three years previously after the pump bearings expired. Given that the old pump had performed continuously throughout the UK seasons with zero maintenance I am very pleased considering its low cost. All I needed to do was connect the new pump to the old solar panel and aerator tube and my pondlife was enjoying proper aeration again! Tip: try to ensure the solar panel has an unobstructed view of the best sunshine at your pond location. I was able to mount it atop a nearby wall.

Installation rapide, fonctionne pour le moment très bien, puissance idéale pour un très petit bassin ( entre 200 et 300l ). Il faudra voir à l'usage, c'est le 3è en 3 ans, les 2 autres n'étaient pas du même fabriquant et plus chers.
