Great value, good quality, this is the one you want
Fast shipping, it did show up in the factory box which sucked but that’s not really the sellers fault. Looks great, works great- Ryzen 5 9600x, RTX 5070, lian li o11 mini v2, 2 ssd, 32gb ram, 850 watts. No issues at all!

Great hardware, terrible software
This is a great MOBO. The modern Type-C buses are super nice to have, multiple NVME slots. If you plan to run multiple GPUs make sure your case is large enough. Only beef I have with ASUS is that the Armory Crate software is hot garbage. Seriously. They moved Aura Sync into Armory Crate so just to run the LED drivers you need almost 3 GB of SDKs and frameworks to use it with the native app. It requests multiple admin permissions on startup. Why? The software hogs resources during runtime. Needs updates otherwise it breaks. Won’t download and apply updates correctly due to tight system permissions, no debugging. Utterly ridiculous. I guess they spent the entire budget on UI R&D

A great motherboard
Reliable, has plenty of features, and worked right out of the box. Everything is great!

Decent mid-range board with limited RAM compatibility.
UPDATE: 07/29/23 - Asus released a beta BIOS update 1634 with “improved memory capability”. I downloaded and installed it and what do you know… it works! My 6000MT kit works without issues. I played for about an hour with zero BSODs, crashes, or resets! This is how it should have worked from the start Asus. I’m glad that they are focusing on improving ram compatibility. I don’t normally install beta versions of bios so I’ll be eagerly awaiting the regular release. Btw I upgraded to a 7900XTX recently with no issues on this board. I’ll bump up the rating to 4 stars. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I bought this board towards the end of Nov 2022 for a 7600X/3070Ti/Corsair white gaming build so I've had this for a few months now. Previously (AM4), I bought Asus boards and didn't have any issues. So I thought I'd go with Asus again. The price was quite steep for a new socket (AM5/DDR5) as expected but again I trusted Asus and liked the way this board looks with is silver heatsinks for my white build so I bought it anyway. My issue with this board is that RAM compatibility is quite bad, especially if you are going for white build with Corsair RAM. At the time of this review (06/2023) according to the Asus website the ONLY Corsair kit on their QVL list for this motherboard at 6000MT (which according to AMD is the "sweet spot") is the CMT32GX5M2D6000C36. Which is only available in a black colorway. I guess I should have done more research on this but if I had known this prior to purchase I would not have bought this board. This board is advertised right here on Amazon as "Strix B650-A is primed and ready for enthusiast-grade kits courtesy of vast AMD EXtended Profiles for Overclocking (EXPO) support." I would hardly call one 6000 Corsair kit (which is actually XMP) and 4 actual EXPO kits at any speed/timings (see screenshot) as "vast". Maybe this will improve in the future, and Corsair can do more to get on Asus' QVL list or release more Expo kits in a white colorway, but only time will tell. I ended up purchasing a 6000MT CL36 white Corsair kit, CMH32GX5M2D6000C36W. Which from the start gave me BSODs and all kinds of crashes and errors using the DOCP profile. I thought I had a bad stick of RAM so I ran memtest at stock speeds (as recommended by Corsair for RMA) but the tests, which took forever BTW, all passed. I updated to the latest bios, version 1616 at the time of writing and the board refuses to boot at anything other than "Auto". So I tweaked the settings manually setting the speed to 5600 with 36 36 36 76 timings. No issues. If you are thinking of going past 6000MT then I also wouldn't recommend this board only 3 6200 kits (XMP) from TeamGroup are on the QVL list and 5 6400MT kits from other brands that I can't find for sale on Amazon or NewEgg. This board supports a decent amount of 5600MT kits. So if you are fine sticking with 5600MT then this is a fine board. Overall, the board is great if you plan on building out a black colorway PC, are fine with mostly 5600MT ram support, or don't mind mixing and matching brands (and their RGB software). But for me it's just "OK". I wanted a white build where iCue handled all the RGB and it's mostly there with a few sacrifices.

Top quality AM5 motherboard.
Excellent quality motherboard with lots of extras and good VRM for multi-core processors. Has the advanced sound chip for great sound quality.

Maybe I just received a bad board.
I ordered this motherboard as I was planning on upgrading my 8-year-old AMD 3700/Geforce 2060 system. The first motherboard arrived with the packaging severely damaged. This was not a shipping issue; the entire box looked like it had gone through some difficult times. So I did not trust what was inside the box. I requested a new motherboard while sending the first one back. The new board arrived two days later. I was excited. I put the PC together, and the CPU fan was only turning its lights on, but not spinning. Removed and reseated the CPU fan, and that started working. However, one of the error/boot lights on the motherboard was yellow. Typically meaning there was an issue with the DRAM. I took the RAM out, used a fan to blow out any dust, and reseated the memory. Booted again, and nothing. So I thought maybe it's a BIOS issue, looking up this board and issues with a 9900 series processor. I was able to download the BIOS update to my cell phone and use an "on the go" cable to transfer the BIOS to a USB flash drive. I initiated the BIOS update as per the instructions, and when I booted the PC, it just got stuck in a "BIOS is updating LED firmware. Do not shut down or reset the system to prevent system bootup failure" screen. I looked at several forums, and some said it took minutes to a day for the system to update. I thought that to be unusual, but not impossible. I let it run overnight and then the next day, since I had to work. Came home, and it was still stuck at the same screen, just looping. I boxed it up and requested a return. I do not recommend this motherboard until ASUS fixes the issues with its quality. The quality of this particular board was very bad.

One of the best budget Rog Strix MOBOs now
The ASUS ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi is one of those boards that hits a sweet spot for Ryzen builders who want premium features without wandering into overkill territory. It’s got that clean white Strix look that pairs nicely with themed builds and the layout is super friendly for first time AM5 users. Performance is rock solid with good VRMs for boosting Ryzen 7000 chips and the BIOS is classic ASUS which means easy tuning and reliable memory support. You get plenty of I/O, fast WiFi, PCIe 5 on the storage side, and enough fan headers to make a serious airflow setup. Overall it feels like a board built for gamers and creators who want stability, style, and room to grow.

Extremadamente Bonita

Just as described
Onboard audio isn’t the best. Required a DAC AMP solution to get decent enough audio for gaming. Other than that flawless product

Recomendo!

its good for the price and its looks good in a white build
its a great motherboard its got all the feature i need the overclocking is substantial enough for most people (amd's built in OC stuff), the connectivity is great for the average person and gamer, looks are good they could be better however i understand this is the budget version so they will cut corners somewhere, now my reason for only 4 stars is firstly the asus bloatware armoury crate is useful however everything else that tried installing i hadnt found a use for so i removed them, and the second reason for my 4 stars is i believe might just be a me issue but it doesnt matter what i do if i plug a mic into either the front jack or the rear jack its extremely quiet like even yelling its barely picked up but if i use a usb adapter for my mic its perfectly fine.
