Parker Deluxe Gp Converter

Don't be put off by the shiny gold finish, no one will see it. Functionally fantastic and I save a fortune in ink cartridges, and smile each time I refill at the non-production of one more piece of plastic waste. These are far better than the standard slide converters which I find to be sharp and difficult to use. Although it seems expensive, I think it paid for itself after only one bottle and the quality is needed so that it doesn't leak.

This item was bought for a Parker Sonnet. The pen came with a Parker Standard converter and while this I'm sure would have worked perfectly fine it ruined the luxury image of this item (it is a gift for someone very special) This item arrived in a padded envelope, with no other packaging and I was mildly concerned however it did arrive without damage and promptly. It does have the Parker marque on it, I'm no expert but it looks genuine enough to me and it has vastly improved the total quality feel of the pen. When tested in my Parker Vector to ensure it worked it performed well enough for my writing, the only possible issue is the screw mechanism works in reverse to the way you'd expect, turn clockwise to draw ink and turn anti clockwise to push the piston back out. All in all it's a gold plated twist mechanism parker converter (without the gold ring at the nozzle of the converter but you never see this part anyway as it's buried in the nib housing) and will do the job it sets out to with the ultimate luxury feel.

Works as expected and holds a decent amount of ink. Negative would be the twist action feels there's lots of friction and the plastic window should be made of clear instead of smoked plastic to make it easier to determine the ink level. On the positive, the converter is easy to remove and attach securely to the pen for easy refill without making a mess. Do note this is Parker specific and most likely won't fit pens by other manufacturers

Ok so a few months ago we discovered my autistic son will gladly write novels worth of work with a fountain pen vs any other so we ended up getting the entire family Parker fountain pens, these converters with pots of waterman ink. I ended up buying extra pens and converters as my daughter and I predominantly like to write in purple but sometimes need black whilst the guys like to write in blue. I especially write every single day with my "purple ink" parker vector, the converter has been in this one with purple (being topped up as needed of course) since around 11th November. My husband has, for early Christmas present, upgraded me to a Waterman 23K gold trim fountain pen which I've been using one of these converters and my black ink in for the last few days (Christmas cards etc) without issue. I did however just go to put my purple ink filled converter into my waterman and relegate my old "purple inked" parker to spares with my "black ink" parker being kept around for when I need black ink. Well that's going to have to wait a few days and I need to find a way to get purple ink off fabrics because when I took the lid off it turns out the converter had exploded throughout the pen. The other 5 seem absolutely fine so not sure why or what has happened, Amazon/the seller are doing a straight replacement I don't even need to send it back which is fantastic and hopefully it is just one dodgy converter as these have been fantastic and a complete money saver.

I've now bought two of these and used them to replace different types of converter in older Parker pens. I use fountain pens regularly, and do not like the ink cartridge system. This twist-mechanism converter is easier to use than either the plunger type, or the style of fountain pen you have to fill by squeezing a rubber tube with a little metal bar or something of the sort. It's a modest little gadget, but it does what it is supposed to, and does it well. Fast delivery from this seller, too!

I didn't know about pen converters until recently and after hearing about them, I found this on Amazon. It arrived within a couple of days of ordering it and works just fine. The converter takes up no more room than an ink cartridge and it fits perfectly onto my Parker 45 pen. I think the fitting for Parker pens is different to others so I can't say if this solution would work for another pen brand. Best to check first. For me, this is great as the writing experience is superior to that of a ball pen and I won't be throwing pens or cartridges in the bin again!

Convenient though they are, I don't like using prefilled disposable plastic refills for my Parker pen. Nor do I particularly like the cheaper refillable options, the "squeeze-and-release" effort that comes with some pens or the simple plunger with a metal ball inside. The reason for the ball in cheaper inserts is because the inferior plastic they use has a higher surface tension, and the ink doesn't run as effectively. This insert doesn't have that problem, so doesn't have the ball either. The plunger is operated by a twist screw, which works well. The gold trim (the thick bit at the screw end) complements my brushed steel and gold Sonnet pen rather well. The thin gold band at the other end in the product picture doesn't seem to be supplied any more, but as it's not visible when the converter is fitted in the pen it hardly matters. If you're going to make a pot of tea, it's worth using loose leaf and making a good pot of tea. Similarly, if you have a fountain pen, it's worth doing it the proper old-fashioned way with a bottle of your favourite ink and one of these converters. Note: About 20 years ago Waterman and Parker pens used the same size of converter. This is no longer the case. So I'm afraid this converter will only work in Parker pens.

Refill capacity as good as the cartridge. Good quality. Fitted my pen well.

万年筆を机から落とした際、2本続けてすぐに折れてしまいました。ちなみに、わざとではありませんがシルバーメッキは同じように落としてしまっても折れることはありませんでした。何か違うのでしょうか・・・。

Converts are always expensive but work as described. It should come with pens actually but companies exploit by selling it separate.

Acheté avec de l'encre Parker pour remplacer mes cartouches. Je suis très satisfait, aucune différence avec l'utilisation de cartouches, recharge facile sans avoir à démonter le stylo (il suffit de plonger la plume dans l'encrier et de visser). Par rapport à une autre marque bien plus chère je remarque également que cette pompe a une bonne contenance et se remplit presque à fond (contrairement à d'autres pompes où le piston ne va pas jusqu'au bout et qui du coup ne se remplissent qu'à moitié). Pas besoin de la recharger à tout bout de champ.

Cargador de alta calidad. El émbolo gira perfectamente y se carga la pluma correctamente. Tiempo de llegada segun lo esperado (o mejor) Para usar en plumas parker. La mejor forma de ahorrar en repuestos. Un tintero y este cartucho y no tendras que preocuparte de comprar tinta en mucho tiempo. Recomendable llevar siempre un cartucho de tinta normal para poder usar en caso de quedarte sin tinta y no tener el tintero cerca.

Finalmente ho trovato il caricatore per le mie due Sheaffer d'alta qualità. Lo potevano fare più robusto e metallico, per questo prezzo e queste penne stilografiche. Essendo un caricatore necessario lo vendono caro come il fuoco. Certo bisogna trattarlo con delicatezza maggiore che rispetto ai vecchi caricatori con gomma e metallo....
