Bioflow Dog Collar Red Large (up to 65cm)

My chocolate lab Scout is only 4 years old and was diagnosed with bilateral elbow dysplasia when he was about 1 year old, he's had no problems for 3 years, but even though he has always been on joint supplements and goes swimming, he started limping badly on one foreleg and then developed a funny gait with his front legs, this is the result of early onset arthritis in both his elbows, I had to reduce his walk lengths to short and frequent instead of his usual long ambles through the country 2 or 3 time a day, he slowly started running and playing less, and not really leaving my side on walks and generally looking a little sad considering he is such a happy chap with everything and everyone. I didn't want to have to use drugs on him if I could help it, so I bought a stronger joint supplement and then started looking around for alternative therapy to help him out with the pain and swelling etc in his elbows, and I found out about the bioflow collars and after reading the reviews and talking to my vet about it I bought one, it arrived after 2 days! and I can honestly say after him only wearing the collar for 2 days, Scout is a different dog, he is back to running and playing like he used to only a month or 2 ago, he has not limped at all since wearing the collar and really seems a lot happier and now travels further ahead of me on walks, and we are getting back to full length walks again, the swelling and pain in his elbows has gone! I know some people say there is a placebo affect, but this isn't, I just put the collar on and let it work it's magic. Scout wears the collar from 8 or 9am until about 4 or 5pm, he doesn't sleep with the collar on, the manufactures recommend your dog wears the collar from 6 to 12 hours a day. I highly recommend this product and so does Scout!!

We were told by the vet they thought our dog had an arthritic elbow but with out an X-ray she couldn't be sure, our dog had two lots of anesthetic in a month as it was & the vet didn't wish to put her through any more at the time, we were given two sorts of pain killer for her, this was a Monday, by Thursday she was limping so much we almost took her back to the vets, the pain killers weren't doing much for her, but then ordered a bio flow magnet collar on the Thursday which arrived on the Friday morning, I fitted it in minutes to the right size & by Friday night she was hardly limping, still on pain killers then, but have now stopped all pain killers & she is fine, wears the collar all the time, I am really pleased with it, would reccomend it to everyone. Vet was really impressed on the amount of improvement in her.

I bought this for my dog, who is nearly fifteen and getting a little stiff. He had pulled a muscle in his leg the week before and had been limping for 5 days when this collar arrived. I put it on and coincidental or not, within 36 hours he stopped limping. Then, I suppose, nearly seven days is enough on it's own. However, he really does seem to have a little more energy and the back step doesn't seem such a struggle. My husband is sceptical and thinks that he goes through up and down phases anyway, so whether this 'up will last long and whether it's down to the collar, I suppose we'll probably never know. I am still happy with the product though, apart from anything else it looks nice and smart. The colour is a really nice red which looks great against my dogs black fur. It only doesn't get five stars from me because of the price. Even with a magnet on it, I can't help thinking how much profit must be being made on these things.

Dixon Dixon Dog, a seven year old King Charles Cavalier was starting to fade from the general degrading effects of hip and elbow displasia and arthritis, my wife was even exploring the possibilities of a hip replacement for him with the vet, but muscle wastage due to his condition ruled that out. A fellow dog walker mentioned magneto-therapeutic collars and out of hope and desperation we gave the bioflow collar a go and candidly the results exceeded our wildest dreams! As they say on TV adverts, "I'm not a vet", Dixon may just have been lucky with whatever magic this delivers but there were no other external factors that would have helped (he started wearing it half way through a cold wet winter not with the warmth of spring. Quick delivery. My dog was limping and refusing to go outside,he is nearly 12 years old . Was told by my neighbours to try it as they had used it for their old dog and within a couple of weeks he is up and out wandering around in the garden again.

I bought a small one for my black lab, fitted perfectly. She is a very strong dog, so strong in fact that one day she saw a cat and yanked that hard on the lead that the closure fitting snapped, perhaps there was a flaw in the fitting, who knows. I contacted the seller and let them know what happened and without hesitation, they immediately replaced the item with the larger size, free of charge, stating it would be stronger. Faultless. Anyway, on to the reason I purchased this, I had a jack russel many years ago who could not get out of bed in the morning without whimpering in pain. She was only 6. The collar was not bioflow as they were not in existence then, but it did work, within 48 hours the wee lady was jumping on and off the sofa and bed, she survived until she was 16 1/2 and only showed signs of arthritic pain a few months before she died. The vet had advised me prior to purchasing the collar that she would be on injections and medication the rest of her life - she never had either. I also purchased another one for my 7 year old chocolate lab who was showing signs of lameness in one of her hind quarters. We walk the woods daily with the dogs, the black lab bounds through the trees, while the chocolate one keeps at heel due to her slight lameness. Upon fitting the collar and within a few days, she was running around like a pup, chasing the wee black one through the trees, unfortunately, she was doing so well running and jumping around after the wee black lab, she ruptured her cruciate ligament and required major surgery. While the chocolate lady was out of action and in a cast, I lent her collar to another dog lover, he did not believe in magnetic therapy. Today, I placed an order for a collar for his dog, guess he has been converted. The big girl is doing fine and has started hydrotherapy, the wee dog who borrowed her collar is improving by the day - just amazing.

I received the collar quickly for my spaniel, and she seem to show near immediate results, however ,threes day in, she became very ill, and id read a review from another buyer saying almost the same, so, had to take the collar off, I am introducing her to it gradually, but in the meantime, the limp she had has returned, so, don't think its doing much, but you do feel your at least trying to help, but ,not sure I'd buy another, if you do buy one, gradually introduce it maybe an hour to start off with, good luck,
